Average time to visit
The best time to visit Chiang Rai is between October and April. The monsoon season traditionally begins in May and lasts through to October, with July to September usually being the time of heaviest rain. The hottest month is April, when temperatures can hit the 40s. The cooler months of November to January will be a good time to travel if you don't like the heat, with the average day temperature slightly below 30°C.

Only a short drive from Chiang Rai, Pa Sak Tong's estate is made up of two parts. To one side lies the Khum Sak Tong Villas made up of six bedrooms and which can sleep up to ten comfortably. To the other side you will find Pa Sak Tong Villa which can accommodate up to six guests in the spacious three bedrooms.
All the villas at Pa Sak Tong are beautifully designed in a traditional Thai style with teak woods and intricate detailing. Each villa blends in perfectly with the surroundings; the estate, which spans over 29 acres at the foothills of Doi Chang mountain, features glistening paddy fields, manicured gardens and a private lake teeming with brightly coloured lotus flowers.
Facilities at Pa Sak Tong include two private spas with steam rooms, a 30m heated chlorine-free pool and numerous spaces to enjoy some unique dining. Enjoy getting lost in the 14 acres of working rice fields or keep active on a hike up Elephant Mountain. At the peak you will be rewarded with a gourmet picnic overlooking these untouched valleys. Mountain biking is also available for those wanting to participate in some adrenaline-charged activities. Alternatively a pampering in one of the three private spas will make for a tranquil Thai experience.
At the villas, guests will be fully looked after by a team of dedicated staff including English speaking butlers and maids. The chef will also create a variety of both European and authentic Thai menus. Enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff with all meals and drinks included.
Pa Sak Tong estate is made up of four Khum Sak Tong Villas which are ideal for larger groups of friends or families with older children. Separate to this is the exclusive Pa Sak Tong Villa. Khum Sak Tong Villas is made up of 6 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 10 guests whilst Pa Sak Tong Villa is self-contained, sleeping up to 6 guests and therefore is perfect for a family.

How to get there
Fly into Chiang Rai Mae Fah Luang International Airport. From there Pa Sak Tong is a 30-minute drive away.
