Description
Set in 23 acres of fragrant tropical gardens on one of Koh Samui’s finest beaches, the Santiburi offers a blend of contemporary Thai-style accommodation in villas and suites, excellent facilities and a relaxed resort environment. The 300 meters of golden sandy beach has no tides and is therefore excellent for swimming.
The spacious villas are dotted amongst the pretty gardens, with beautiful wooden floors, Siamese-inspired furnishings and a large terrace overlooking the beach or gardens. Choose to stay in a Duplex Suite in the resort's main building, close to the facilities with a living room downstairs and bedroom upstairs or stay in a freestanding villa with sunny terraces, some with private plunge pools.
The one and two-bedroom suites at the Santiburi are great for families, offering plenty of space and fantastic value and are complemented by a kids activity center with golf, football camps, batik painting and beach activities.
Santiburi's dining options range from a snack at the Pool Bar to a sumptuous Thai Feast at 'Sala Thai' fine dining restaurant. Other favorites are a torch lit seafood barbecue on the beach and the in-room dining is also superb.
For those in need of a pamper, the spa's natural treatment rooms with Jacuzzi gardens are a sanctuary for indulgent treatments and holistic therapies designed to ensure guests leave the Santiburi feeling relaxed and refreshed from top to toe. Well-known for its superb catering for families, the hotel's spa even provides specialist treatments for children and teenagers.
Together with great restaurants, bars and a beautiful spa, there are numerous facilities for the more active, including a variety of watersports, cycling, a superb golf club and professional course as well as tennis and squash.
