This is a superb hotel in the central business district of Bangkok, offering phenomenal panoramic views across the city and the river. The rooms here are comfortable and spacious, and the hotel has a great selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, including their rooftop restaurant called Vertigo. The property also has a rooftop pool which, although a little on the small side, is great to cool off in after sightseeing in the city.

Vertigo and Moon Bar on the 61st floor has to be one of the coolest bars in the world and we were lucky enough to enjoy a Mojito there, watching the sunset over the twinkling Bangkok skyline. The name is totally appropriate and if you are scared of heights then maybe give it a miss but otherwise this should be a ’must do’ for anyone going to Bangkok. You will need to dress up, no shorts, no flip flops etc and make sure it is a dry night as there is no roof up there.
