Tanjong Jara sits on a long crescent of golden beach fringed by palm trees, overlooking the turquoise waters of the South China Sea. The resort's fairly quiet and remote location creates an appealing local-feel, whilst still offering the high-standard of facilities and accommodation that you would expect from a luxury resort.
There are 100 en-suite rooms, decorated with furnishings crafted from local timber. The design is modern, but also features elegant local touches. The higher room categories have large outdoor verandas, many of which face the sea.
Dining at Tanjong Jara is an experience in itself.
