Situated in the heart of Niseko Village at the base of Mount Annapuri, the Kasara Townhouses are a collection of stylish, luxury homes just a few metres from the ski slopes and close to the shops and restaurants at Niseko Village.

The beautifully-styled Kasara Townhouses offer guests the ultimate in flexibility yet at the same time total convenience for both the ski lifts and the restaurants and facilities in Niseko Village.

Each townhouse has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area which are all stylishly designed combining authentic Japanese charm with contemporary decor and breathtaking views of the mountains, including the iconic Mount Yotei. The homes can sleep six comfortably, but the Tatami-style dining area can be converted into up a bedroom with futon bedding to sleep to children under 12.

The personalised service is what really makes it a cut above the rest - with a dedicated concierge and a complimentary driver-on-call service within the Niseko Village area. The kitchen can be stocked in advance and during the stay giving guests the option to stay in and cook or alternatively a chef can be booked to come and cook for guests.

Access to the skiing is easy - either on foot to the nearest lifts from the base at neighbouring property The Green Leaf Niseko Village or using the driver service to take the Niseko Gondola from the base next to the Hilton Niseko Village.

Each of the eight townhouses are stylish and comfortable and set out over two floors. The accommodation consists of three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, laundy facilities, heated ski room, a flexible dining area that converts into an additional bedroom with a futon, (ideal for one or two children) and use of a garage that will fit one car. They also have complimentary wi-fi, TV with DVD player, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and bath amenities.

There are child minding facilities available upon request (for extra charge) at the Kasara Townhouses for children one year plus. As well as the Niseko Kids Snow School and Day Care program located in the village for children aged one to twelve years, providing fun private or group ski / snowboarding lessons.


Guests have complimentary access to the gym facilities at nearby Hilton Niseko Village as well as use of the onsens (hot springs) at the Hilton and The Green Leaf Niseko Village.

There is a concierge on hand to book activities or restaurant reservations as well as a complimentary on-call driver service within the Niseko Village area.

Other available services (for an extra charge) include stocking the kitchen with a selection of groceries, child minding services (1 year +), overnight ski / snowboard waxing, in-house sports massages and 'dine-in' experiences.

Whilst the Kasara Niseko Village Townhouse does not have its own restaurant there are a good selection in the village with a mixture of traditional Japanese and internationally influenced cuisines.


The Siberian winds interacting with moisture from the Sea of Japan means the snow is exceptionally dry and light in Niseko Village and, during ski season, there is incredible off piste terrain as well as a wide range of groomed runs for all levels. There is also First Tracks Cat skiing and a cross country skiing course. For advanced skiers, the backcountry can be accessed through a series of gates near the peak of Mount Niseko Annupuri leading to incredible terrain and a huge series of back bowls. Alternatively, snowshoe up Mount Yotei for mind-blowing, volcano crater skiing at the summit.

The Niseko Village Snow School is an internationally certified multi-lingual ski school for beginners or those who want to improve their ski or snowboarding skills.

Aside from the skiing in Niseko other activities nearby include snowmobile adventures, snow rafting, reindeer sledding, guided snowshoe tours.

The local spa facilities are an ideal to relax those aching muscles and the Wakka Spa at the nearby Hilton Niseko Village was voted as one of the top 10 spas in Japan.

A soak in an onsen is also a must, a 100% natural mineral hot spring, each onsen has their own distinct mineral content and healing qualities, an ideal way to relax and unwind. A stay in the Kasara Townhouses includes complimentary use of the onsens at both The Green Leaf Niseko Village and the Hilton Niseko Village.

How to get there

Niseko Village is well served by the New Chitose Airport, the largest commercial airport in Hokkaido, operating a large number of both domestic and international flights on a daily basis.

From Sapporo to Niseko Village via National Highway 230 is approximately 97km.

From New Chitose Airport to Niseko Village via National Highway 276 is approximately 110km

The average travelling time for both routes is 120 minutes and will vary depending on weather conditions.
