The Puli is based on a new urban resort concept that combines the convenience of being in downtown Shanghai with the quiet indulgence of a luxurious resort. Located next to JingAn Park, the hotel benefits from picturesque views of the green park and rooms and facilities are designed to make the most of this. The location is also ideal with some of the best shopping, sightseeing and dining areas close by as well as a Metro line under the hotel.

The design of The Puli is sleek and chic with contemporary interiors and a boutique feel. Rooms vary in size from 45-130sqm with a choice of rooms and suites and all are equipped with the latest gadgets. After a busy day sightseeing and shopping, come back to The Puli where a stunning pool and Anantara Spa await. Dining at The Puli is also a highlight with Jing'An serving delicious cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the park.

The Puli has 193 rooms and 36 Suites with a choice of either city or park views. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology including flat screen LCD televisions, Bose Wave music systems with iPod docking stations and Nespresso machines. Complimentary Wi-Fi is offered as standard as well in-room check-in as a minibar with soft drinks. Deluxe Rooms are the lead-in room type and at 45sqm are spacious with a studio concept and the Grand Rooms are slightly larger at 47sqm. Suites vary from 50-95sqm and the top category is the Jing'An Suite, which is vast at 130sqm.

Children are welcome at The Puli but there are no special facilities except babysitting, which can be arranged on request.

The Puli has one restaurant, Jing'An serving Western cuisine with an influx of Asian flavors. There is also the Long Bar and adjacent Garden Terrace where afternoon tea and evening cocktails are served. On the third floor, you will find the Anantara Spa with five treatment rooms, a state of the art gym, sauna and steam rooms, a Jacuzzi and the 25m infinity lap pool. The hotel is also home to The Library, a cosy space with open fireplace and great books to borrow.

With its excellent facilities there is lots to do in the hotel but it is also essential to venture out and explore Shanghai. This fast-paced city has lots to see; a visit to the historic Bund is a must and it is also worth visiting at night for electrifying views onto Pudong. The French Concession is also worth seeing with its quirky shops and cafés and important sights include the Yu Gardens, Shanghai Museum and the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center for a futuristic view of the city. By night venture out to the many incredible restaurants and bars in town and we can certainly make some recommendations for you.
