Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a modern hotel with a colonial character, located in the heart of Peru's Sacred Valley in Huayoccari and is the perfect base from which to explore this stunning region of the Peruvian Highlands.
Part of the socially responsible and ecologically minded Peruvian organization, Inkaterra, Hacienda Urubamba is set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, surrounded by wild flowers and trees and is the perfect place for mental and physical rejuvenation. With a variety of excursions on offer in the Valley and its surroundings, this is a perfect retreat for families. Designed in contemporary Peruvian style and inspired by local Cusco architecture, the hotel was made using locally sourced materials fitting well into its surroundings. All rooms are furnished in modern Peruvian style and are spacious and comfortable, some with private terraces or panoramic mountain views.
The dining room at the hotel serves both local and international food, using organic ingredients harvested at Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba. For a healthy and nutritious meal, there is also a special "Wellness" menu for those keen for a more restorative culinary experience. The bar and wine cave provide a variety of beverages to complement your meal and there is a cocktail hour daily by the outdoor bonfire, a great way to end the day.
All the rooms at Hacienda Urubamba are furnished to a very high standard, include luxury linen and towels and bathrobes. Free WiFi is available throughout all rooms, and some have private terraces or panoramic mountain views.
There is no specific childcare at Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba however children are welcome and a child's explorer kit can be requested.
Picnics and packed lunch can be arranged, and an A la carte menu is offered for dinner in the restaurant and on the terrace. There is also a lounge bar in the hotel with a large selection of macerated piscos, wine cellar, and cocktail hour.
