La Casona de la Ronda is situated on one of city's oldest streets in the bohemian heart of the city that was a popular meeting point for artists, writers and poets.
The hotel is housed in a historic mansion on this charming street and offers 22 rooms located around a beautifully remodelled central courtyard. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and WiFi is available. Contemporary and traditional styles are blended to create a comfortable atmosphere.
The decor respects the culture and traditional features of the building, while also providing modern comforts such as wireless internet. The hotel offers daily breakfast, a coffee shop and reading room with a fireplace. When to go
Quito is a year round destination. Due to its position on the equator and its altitude, Quito’s temperature varies greatly between night and day. Daytime temperatures average 23-25ºC, while at night temperatures drop to around 10ºC. In general, days are clear in the morning and cloud over in the afternoon, with rain common in the afternoon. The drier season runs from the end of May to the end September.
