The Sofitel has a very good restaurant serving delicious Mediterranean and Colombian cuisine. However, if you wish to venture out into the city for dinner, the hotel is very well located to explore the local restaurants which are within easy reach.
The Sofitel has spacious modern guest rooms, and the facilities you would expect from a first class city hotel.
There are 102 rooms divided between standard, executive and suites, all with the facilities you would expect of an international hotel.
Children are welcome at the hotel, and babysitting can be arranged upon request, but there are no specific facilities. A few rooms can interconnect.

When to go
Bogota is 8800ft above sea level and therefore the temperature is never too high, although it does receive a lot of rainfall. The best time to visit Bogota is probably during the driest weather (December till March), however, completely good or bad weather is unpredictable. These months receive moderate tourist crowd.
The peak tourist season in Bogota is July and August due to its famous Bogota Carnival (August 5th & 6th). The average high temperature during this time is 19C.
The wet season in Bogota envelops the months of April, May, June and July. Although it can rain any time of the year these months receive the highest amount of rainfall.
