Brimming with character and guaranteeing both a comfortable stay and peace and quiet as well as a huge welcome, this delightful and incredibly homely hideaway is situated 12 miles from downtown Bariloche, perfectly positioned for exploring the beautiful Lake District.
Each of the five guest rooms has its own style and décor and blends harmoniously with the surroundings. Los Juncos is set in a peaceful location facing Lake Nahuel Huapi, 20kms away from the center of Bariloche. Hosts Flavia and Gaby will welcome you with open arms.
By night, the living room turns into an atmospheric and sophisticated dining room for candlelit conversations, meeting fellow guests, sampling the superb wine list and feasting on the delicate and delicious delights cooked each evening by the in-house chef. By day you can enjoy this true home from home's garden or fantastic reading material, or even take a kayak out in the bay. In the winter months, Bariloche offers some of Argentina's best skiing and caters for all levels.
Los Juncos features five individually furnished guest rooms with the decor reflecting their names: Soul, Air, Water, Fire and Earth. Rooms offer stunning views over the lake and garden.
Children are welcome at the hotel, and babysitting can be arranged upon request, but there are no specific facilities or interconnecting rooms. Bariloche offers plenty of basic and intermediary skiing, perfect for children.
Los Juncos provides informal dining serving regional specialties from their organic kitchen garden, lounge area and outdoor seating area with panoramic views overlooking the garden and lake.

When to go
The Lake District is beautiful in spring (October) and autumn (March) and fresher in these months than during the height of summer. Between October and April is the best time to visit, although skiing is good from July to September. Winter is usually pretty mild.
