Nuss is a contemporary boutique hotel located in the trendy Palermo Soho district of Buenos Aires surrounded by mouth watering steak restaurants, avant-garde boutiques and art galleries. It also has one of the few small rooftop pools in the city.
Nuss, situated on a tree-lined street opposite the Plaza Serrano, is a stylish boutique hotel that was once a classic Spanish-style convent. Its 22 guest rooms, split between three floors, are a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. Decorated with elegant furniture and subtle neutral tones they provide all the amenities one would expect from an exclusive city boutique hotel; air conditioning, LCD TV, CD and DVD player and Wi fi.
A peaceful Zen-style courtyard leads off to the rooms, whilst the Deli Lobby Lounge is a popular meeting point for Porteños, and serves light fare throughout the day. Nuss also has a small gym, sauna, plenty of relaxation areas and a rooftop deck and pool that offers perfect respite from the heat of summer days. Nuss is a great base for exploring the most bohemian and avant-guard neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Why not visit the Malba museum with its excellent collection of Latin American art or hit the renowned antiques market in San Telmo.
Nuss Hotel has 22 guest rooms - ten superior, six deluxe, four junior suites and two suites. Rooms are tastefully decorated with contemporary furnishings. All come equipped with double glazing, air conditioning, LCD TV, CD and DVD player and complimentary WiFi. Two of the Junior Suites have a private balcony and the Suites have a separate living room. Junior Suites and Suites both have a whirlpool bath.
|Superior Room||A spacious and bright room with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, views of the city, a minibar and a private bathroom with a bathtub.|
Children are welcome at the hotel, and babysitting can be arranged upon request, but there are no specific facilities or interconnecting rooms.
Nuss Hotel provides a small rooftop swimming pool, deli lobby lounge, massage area, solarium, gym and sauna.
Some of the highlights of Buenos Aires include Palermo Soho for its boutiques, bars and restaurants, the cemetery in Recoleta and the surrounding area or why not hit the famous antiques market in San Telmo on a Sunday or visit the Malba museum and admire the excellent collection of Latin American art.
Mark Beken (Staff)
Boutique hotel openings in Buenos Aires over the last few years have mushroomed to such an extent that it is easy to accept chaff when you should be getting wheat. Nuss is a class act, and has all the ingredients to make a stay here among the best you can have in the capital. Firstly, it is ideally located in the best part of Palermo Soho and close to interesting shops, bars and restaurants. Secondly, it is stylish without becoming over-trendy, a common failing in many Buenos Aires hotels, and thirdly the service here is truly excellent, and what stood out for me was the well-judged combination of professionalism and infomality that made staying here a joy.
