Originally built in the 1930s, The Alvear Palace is renowned as one of South America's finest hotels and exudes refined elegance and luxury from every corner. The furnishings are exquisite and the service exemplary, with personal butler service included for select room categories to take care of your every need.

The spacious guest rooms and suites are sumptuously decorated with Empire and Louis XVI style furniture, huge chandeliers, fine art works and antique porcelain. The sumptuous bathrooms come complete with bath tub and hydromassage shower and even a plasma television. Dining at the Alvear Palace is an experience not to be missed. A lavish buffet breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea with fine pastries and delicious Sunday brunch are all on offer at L'Orangerie. There is also the award-winning La Bourgogne restaurant serving sophisticated French and international cuisine. The Alvear Palace has 197 spacious guest rooms and suites, fitted out in a supremely elegant style, with Louis XVI crystal chandeliers and fine works of art. This traditional style is perfectly blended with modern technology, with all rooms and suites coming complete with WiFi, LCD screen television and dvd player. The bathrooms are divine, with hydromassage shower, bath tub, luxury Hermès toiletries and plasma television. An additional 15 lounge suites are available on the upper floors of the Alvear Palace, each complete with contemporary furniture which complements the original French classical architecture.


Children are made very welcome at the Alvear Palace and much thought has been given to make a stay with little ones as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. Children's amenity kits, slippers, dressing gowns and teddy bears are all provided. Children's baths, changing mats and high chairs are also available. Babysitting can be arranged on request and connecting rooms are available.


The facilities at the Alvear are excellent. There are two superb restaurants serving fine cuisine, an elegant lobby bar, a relaxing cigar bar and a rooftop indoor pool with pool bar. The luxury spa is first class and features a fitness center, sauna, steam baths, relaxation rooms and an extensive treatment menu.


The Alvear Palace's concierge is available to assist you with making the most of your stay in the fabulous city of Buenos Aires.
