The Arrabelle's exclusive mountain chalet, Game Creek Chalet, is a pretty four-bedroom retreat, high up on Vail Mountain in the glades of the Game Creek Bowl. Perched on a ridge at 10,500 feet, this charming private cabin is perfect for friends and family. Arrive in style - either on skis after a day on the slopes, or by snow cat from Eagle's Nest at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
Rustic inside, the cosy chalet has an open-plan living/dining area with fireplace, perfect for curling up in front of a crackling fire, a gourmet kitchen, a separate games room filled with board games, internet access and satellite TV. Outside, relax in the hot tub whilst taking in the views of the surrounding snow capped peaks. Game Creek Lodge ideally sleeps eight, but arrangements can also be made for an additional two people.
Daily housekeeping is included and meals can additionally be prepared by a private chef in the premium package.
Guests at Game Creek Chalet also have access to the Hotel Arrabelle’s concierge service, as well as the spa facilities.
There are four bedrooms, two of which have king beds and one with twin beds. The games rooms also has a full sofa sleeper bed. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.
Game Creek Chalet has no specific children's facilities.
There is an option to hire a private chef as well as a private ski guide / instructor.

When to go
The ski season in the United States is longer than that in Europe. Most resorts open sometime in November, with Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday in that month) being a common opening time, and stay open until mid to late April. The Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Wyoming have the highest peaks and due to the semi-arid climate, have abundant snowfall with some great powder. The exceptionally high altitude means December through to February can be extremely cold, with temperatures sometimes reaching as low as -12C, although the skiing conditions remain very good. Warmer temperatures in the Spring mean more variable skiing conditions and softer, forgiving snow.
