Description

Built in 1924, the Fairmont Olympic Seattle has been serving the city for almost a century. Standing proud as one of the most long-standing luxury hotels in downtown Seattle, the Fairmont Olympic is the pinnacle of old-world elegance combined with mid-century contemporary decor. While the common areas and lobby remain grand, the guest rooms have been transformed to provide families and couples alike with a spacious, light and bright hideaway. The pool area and health club have also been renovated. There are two great restaurants; The Georgian, a more formal dining venue which oozes classic elegance with grand Palladian windows and overhanging chandeliers, and the lovely Shuckers Oyster Bar which enjoys a more casual pub-style setting. Along with impeccable service and award-winning menus, each restaurant offers a different setting to suit different moods. For hand-crafted cocktails and a small bite before dinner, The Terrace Lounge offers classic cocktails and small sharing platters in a relaxed atmosphere.

Its central location makes Fairmont Olympic one of the most convenient places to stay. The bustling Pike Place Market, impressive Space Needle and the arcade-packed Waterfront Pier are right on the hotel's doorstep, allowing guests to feel fully immersed in the hustle and bustle of the city whilst they enjoy the exceptional comforts of a luxury hotel.

Accommodation

The Guestrooms are spacious and come with luxury Le Labo amenities, high-speed wireless internet access and many USB outlets as well as small sitting areas. Bathrooms are complete with rainfall showers or bath tubs, cosy dressing areas and marble vanities.

Suites have extra living space with a comfortable sofa, a modern wing chair and a work desk.Amenities are also upgraded and the bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding barn-style door to give the feeling of privacy. The larger Signature Suites have a sleeper-sofa, a well-appointed marble bathroom and a separate dressing area, making them perfect for families with young children. 

Deluxe Executive Suite Deluxe Executive Suites offer partial privacy for business meetings or private entertaining. The suites feature a luxurious master bedroom with a well-appointed marble bathroom and adjacent dressing area. The bedroom is separated from the living room by sliding barn doors. The spacious living area is furnished with sofa-bed, two armchairs and a well-quipped working desk.
Deluxe King Deluxe rooms are spacious, comfortable accommodations that feature a contemporary yet classically elegant decor. All Deluxe rooms offer an intimate sitting area and a well-equipped working desk.

Babysitting services are available. Please speak to your Travel Consultant to organize any childcare at the Fairmont Olympic.

Facilities

The Fairmont Olympic has a wealth of facilities for guests to enjoy. Kids will love the indoor swimming pool as pool toys are available for complimentary use and parents can relax poolside with a specialty cocktail. There is also a whirpool and spa for adult use.The health club is located on the 2nd floor and features state-of-the-art Technogym weight equipment. Personal Trainers are available by appointment.

There are two restaurants in the hotel. The Georgian is a more formal dining option whereas Shuckers enjoys a casual atmosphere and is perfect for seafood lovers. Both restaurants have a kid-friendly menu for little ones to enjoy.

Activities

The hotel's central location means Seattle's attractions are just a short walk away. Visit the Seattle Aquarium, The Children's Museum or Pike Place Market for a spectacular food tour. You can also visit the iconic Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens as well as go whale watching in the Puget Sound.

When to go

Seattle is a great city to visit all year round, as the seasons change the scenery creates different stunning landscapes with vivid scenes. June through September is peak season, this is due to the lovely weather which really draws in the crowds. This summer weather is beautiful and the temperature usually averages mid 20s. There are often higher temperatures but these can not be guaranteed.
