Kauai is a year round destination with a tropical climate, with the very best months being April to September. Temperatures are high throughout the year but never excessive, as humidity levels are manageable. There is a rainy season from December to March which is also ironically, the tourism high season, when the scenery is at its most lush and long, hot days break up the rainy spells.

Rooms feature a king adorned with embroidered bed linens, relaxed living area with custom furnishings and a sumptuous marble bathroom with double vanity and oversized bathtub with shower combination. They do not feature balconies, but a seating area fronting the large expansive window provides a perfect place to take in the spectacular ocean views. Rooms are located on floors 4 -11.

Mountain/Garden Rooms provide luxurious comfort in a tropical garden setting. Each room features a contemporary Hawaiian décor with modern refinements. Rooms feature either one king-size or two queen beds adorned with embroidered bed linens, sumptuous custom furnishings and an elegant marble bathroom with an oversized tub and double vanity. Rooms include a unique transparent glass reveal electronically controlled for views or privacy. Rooms are located on floors 2-7 and 9. (Approximately 540 square feet)
Mountain or Garden View with Terrace Rooms are spacious and offer a private furnished outdoor terrace. Rooms are located on floors 1,4,9 and 10. (Approximately 540 square feet)

Ocean View rooms are elegantly appointed with scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and lush tropical gardens. Each room features a contemporary Hawaiian décor with modern refinements. Rooms feature either one king or two queen beds adorned with embroidered bed linens, relaxed sitting area with contemporary furnishings and a sumptuous marble bathroom with double vanity and oversized bathtub with shower combination. Rooms include a unique transparent glass reveal electronically controlled for views or privacy. Please note that there are no balconies or terraces. Rooms are located on floors 2-7 (547 square feet).
Children are warmly welcomed to come and stay at the Princeville Resort and the hotel is very well suited to families. Cribs and interconnecting rooms are available.
The Young Voyagers Club is open daily for children aged 5 to 12 years from 9am to 5:30pm and again from 5:30 till 8:30pm (costs apply). The activities are fun and educational encouraging the kids to learn about the natural environment, ocean and reef and Hawaiian traditions. For younger children babysitting and child care can be organized.

The elegant Kauai Grill combines the exquisite cuisine of acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten with the magnificent views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai. At the Makana Terrace, the emphasis is on showcasing lesser known local island ingredients and fish with an Asian twist. The poolside Nalu Kai Grill is perfect for a light lunch and for a morning espresso and ingredients for a picnic, the Napali Cafe is on hand.
