Perfectly placed to make the most of its Miami location, The Raleigh looks out over the white sands of the famous South Beach and the sparkling waters beyond. Built and designed in 1940, The Raleigh is a masterpiece of Art Deco design and combines beautifully traditional features with modern amenities. The signature pool provides a peaceful oasis for relaxation at the heart of the hotel, with comfortable private cabanas making this the perfect spot to lounge poolside with a delicious craft brew or freshly shaken cocktail.
There are 105 rooms and suites at The Raleigh, all of which feature large picture windows and many of which enjoy enviable South Beach views. All come equipped with iHome docking stations, mini-bars and TVs making them a great space to unwind before experiencing that famous Miami nightlife. 400-thread count linens furnish the comfortable beds and promise a restful sleep. There are a number of interconnecting rooms available for families.
The Restaurant at The Raleigh serves up delicious plates of modern American fare, making the most of seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on the chic patio, upstairs on the terrace or even to take away and enjoy on the beach. Guests staying at The Raleigh can also make the most of the facilities at The Redbury and SLS South Beach hotels so the dining and drinking options are extensive.
All 105 rooms and suites at The Raleigh are well-appointed with vintage furniture and finished with luxurious 400-count Egyptian cotton linens. Additional amenities include in-room stereos, mini-bars, safes and Ciel Spa products. The resort fee includes access to the WiFi which is available in the room.

The Restaurant at the Raleigh serves up a menu of modern American classics which can be enjoyed inside, by the poolside or on the Tiger Terrace. Menus are updated daily to keep things as fresh as the seasonal ingredients and the chefs can also prepare a boxed lunch to take to the beach. There is also a renowned Martini Bar on site, a pool bar and a coffee bar. Other facilities at The Raleigh include the iconic pool. The resort fee includes WiFi access and the use of two beach chairs each day.
Miami is home to a wide range of art galleries, cool boutiques and excellent restaurants. Being so close to the water, there are plenty of water sport orientated activities available such as boating and parasailing. Why not hire some roller blades to really get a feel for Miami living? If you enjoy a bit of a dance in the evening, Miami's famed nightlife is also one to experience.
Tours can be arranged to explore the Art Deco district of Miami or further afield to the Everglades National Park. With direct beach access and a pool surrounded by beach cabanas there is also plenty of opportunity for relaxation.

When to go
Miami is a year-round destination but summers can be hot and humid from June to November. Ideal conditions exist between December and May, when temperatures average between 16°C and 30°C, and average rainfall is a mere 2.14in per month. Summer is hot and humid, with thunderstorms rolling in at 3pm or 4pm. August is both the rainiest and hottest month – and there’s always the chance of hurricanes during the season from June to November.
