Brightly colored rustic bar stools and fabulous prints on vintage armchairs perfectly compliment the modern and chic style of this fantastic stylish art deco hotel located at the hub of the Collins Avenue art deco Hotels district.
The rooms at the Soho Beach House are all classically stylish with bursts of quirky modern features, and are all very spacious, with exposed wooden beams, and with some featuring fabulous four-poster beds.
There are plenty of food and beverage experiences in the house section of the hotel, including a Beach Club, Cuban-inspired Club Bar, Tiki Bar and an 8th Floor rooftop Taqueria. There is also a screening "snug", where guests can enjoy regular movie screenings in their cinema in old-fashioned and superbly comfortable sofas with family and friends.
Soho Beach house includes 50 rooms all of which feature water views. There are six enormous one bedroom suites between the 9th and 14th floors which feel more like stylish open-plan apartments. They have floor-to-ceiling windows with two large terraces, a living room and oversized bathroom with marble soaking tubs. Also available are eight beachside rooms between the 4th and 7th floors, which also have large outdoor terraces and floor to ceiling windows. The remaining rooms are still very generously roomy and feature oversized bathrooms and soaking tubs.
Children are made very welcome at the Soho Beach House, and cots and beds can be added to rooms free of charge. Childcare and babysitting is available to guests at a charge.
Dining options at Soho Beach House is varied and exciting. Cecconi's, the second US Outpost of London's Mayfair restaurant, operates in the garden under vine-draped pergolas and fairy lights.
The Tiki Bar is a casual tropical space with a grill and fire pit just steps from the pool, ideal for enjoying a drink at the end of the day. The Hotel's Club Bar is a homage to 1940s Cuba and serves food and fantastic cocktails all day. The Hotel's Beach club which is reserved exclusively for members and their guests have lounge beds with waiter service too.
The 100 ft main pool is flanked by lounge beds and features full waiter service. The rooftop plunge pool on the 8th floor has great views and a taqueria (taco-eatery) where you can relax and take in the fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
There is also a library, with lush custom furniture, the perfect space for eating, drinking and meeting and has an adjoining dining room.
One of the most impressive highlights of the Soho Beach House is the Cowshed Spa, ideal for winding down and enjoying some refreshing and relaxing treatments in the comfort of your own hotel. The Spa boasts an extensive list of treatments including the Cowshed Head massage, salt scrubs, hot stone massages, Cowshed wraps, deep tissue massages, skin peels, Alpha Beta facials, manicures, pedicures and plenty more. It is even possible to enjoy your treatments in the privacy of your own room. When to go
Miami is a year-round destination but summers can be hot and humid from June to November. Ideal conditions exist between December and May, when temperatures average between 16°C and 30°C, and average rainfall is a mere 2.14in per month. Summer is hot and humid, with thunderstorms rolling in at 3pm or 4pm. August is both the rainiest and hottest month – and there’s always the chance of hurricanes during the season from June to November.
