Florida is a year-round destination with balmy winters, but summers can be hot and humid. The best time to visit Florida is between March and May and in December when it is warm and sunny, before the weather begins to get too hot. Hurricanes and other less serious tropical storms can strike Florida any time in the summer up to the end of November, however the risk is greatest between August and October.

The Ritz Carlton Naples has been open for 31 years and it is really apparent that service and guest experience is their number one priority. They are also extremely proud of their 51,000 sq feet spa which provides over 300 treatments a day and the Natural Wonders kids club is one of the best I have seen. The Grill offers amazing fine dining experiences and Dusk Bar is classy inside with an excellent sushi restaurant attached and fire pits outside for when it gets dark. The main highlight in Naples has to be the incredible sunsets over the white beaches and no better place to view this than on the beachfront at Gumbo Limbo Bar.
