One of Naples' most established hotels, many return to La Playa year after year and it's understandable why. With an enviable location, directly on the powder white sands of the Gulf of Mexico which stretch on and on, it's an ideal location to relax and recharge your batteries, either as a stand alone vacation or as a respite after the parks and excitement of Orlando.
Service is very much part of the experience here and a friendly welcome and warm atmosphere make this a special place. The location is part of it's absolute charm with wonderful sunset views from the beach and Tiki Bar as well as the majority of guest rooms, each of which has its own private bathroom.
Families are particularly well looked after at La Playa with some excellent camp activities for children aged 6 years and over offered at certain times of the year. The beach alone may well keep most children happy with it's soft white sand and gentle lagoon like waters. The Beach Lanai rooms will be very desirable as they offer direct access from their terraces to the beach.
In addition to the four pools and many water sports on offer, guests can also enjoy the Robert Cupp Jr championship golf course and the David Leadbetter Academy. For those who enjoy a little more relaxation, the Spa Terre is a sublime indulgence where pampering treatments with Thai and Indonesian influences are sure to delight.
If you decide to step away from the resort, downtown Naples with it's superb shopping and restaurants is an easy 15-minute drive and the famous Everglades are only a further hour away

The hotel offers a total of 189 guest rooms including eight spectacular Gulf Front Suites
The resort features three areas, the main resort buildings, the Bay Tower which is across a small residential street and the Gulf Tower. The Bay View and Resort View rooms are in the Bay Tower and the Beachfront Rooms are in the Gulf Tower. Beachfront Premium Rooms are to be found in the Gulf Tower and also the Beach House.

The Beach House Lanai rooms offer direct beach access from their terrace and are most coveted. Beachfront Rooms all offer unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. The one bedroom suites offer more space and would be ideal for young families. Pool view rooms can interconnect
The rooms are warm and welcoming and perfect for a vacation getaway retreat. Each features a private balcony as well as a full marble bathroom, high speed internet access, premium bath essentials, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, goose down duvets and pillow top beds as well as waffle weave bathrobes and a fully stocked refreshment cabinet.
Families are very welcome at La Playa and there are interconnecting rooms and suites to accommodate them.
Babysitting and nanny services are available for a local charge through the concierge and a welcome amenity is provided for all younger guests as well as a children's menu at the Tiki Bar and Beach Service.
The Kid's Acquatic Camp runs from 10am to 2pm on selected dates from October to January and includes games, nature walks, surfing and sandcastle building. Additional charge applies locally. Please speak to us for specific dates
Coach B's Beach Camp is held at the Delnor Wiggins State Park, around 1.5 miles from La Playa and offers children from 6-14 years 5 day camps from Monday to Friday from June to August. Guests at La Playa are offered the option to utilize the camp for just one or two days at a charge of $50 per day or for the full week at a rate of $205. Camps run from 8.30am to 3pm each day. Beach Camp weeks are often "themed" from theatre to sports, fitness to pool parties as well as having field trips and excursions.

The hotel offers some fantastic facilities, making it a superb choice for a one stop vacation. Directly on the beach front, with complimentary umbrellas and beach chairs as well as cabanas for guest hire. There are four cascading pools and lush landscaped grounds. There is a gift shop and concierge service for guests as well.
The Spa Terre offers a unique spa experience inspired by exotic rituals from Thailand and Indonesia with relaxing body therapies and seven private treatment rooms. There is also an extensive fitness center.
Guests have many dining options on site from Baleen, an award winning waterfront restaurant with live entertainment, to the Clubhouse Grill and Lounge located at the golf course. There is also the relaxed Baleen Bar with wonderful Gulf of Mexico views and the Tiki Bar for outdoor drinks and light cuisine by the pool. In room dining is also available.
La Playa has some excellent activities on offer. On the beach there are catamarans, parasailing and wave runners available to hire.
Fitness classes are available including yoga and pilates on the beach.
La Playa golf course, designed by Robert Cupp Jr features an 18 hole, par 72 layout and is just 3 1/2 miles from the resort. There is also a David Leadbetter Golf Academy on site.

When to go
Florida is a year-round destination with balmy winters, but summers can be hot and humid. The best time to visit Florida is between March and May and in December when it is warm and sunny, before the weather begins to get too hot. Hurricanes and other less serious tropical storms can strike Florida any time in the summer up to the end of November, however the risk is greatest between August and October.
