Florida is a year-round destination with balmy winters, but summers can be hot and humid. The best time to visit Florida is in March and April when it is warm and sunny, before the weather begins to get too hot. Hurricanes and other less serious tropical storms can strike Florida any time in the summer up to the end of November, however the risk is greatest between August and October.
To start planning your vacation to Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World brings luxury, sophistication and acclaimed Four Seasons service directly to the heart of Walt Disney World. Secluded in a gated residential area, the resort offers a much needed retreat after a day in the parks.
The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World offers a peaceful base for exploring everything Orlando and Disney World has to offer, from Magic Kingdom to Epcot, Kennedy Space Center and Universal Studios. The resort is situated on the banks of a pristine lake in the heart of a residental gated community, amongst beautifully manicured gardens, with extensive luxury facilities.
Families are superbly well catered for here, with Explorer Island featuring a large family pool, a meandering lazy river, splash zone and water slide, as well as beach volleyball, outdoor table tennis and a fully serviced kids' club. With plenty to keep the kids entertained, the fun never has to stop, but for adults, the Four Seasons offers a luxury hideaway for parents looking for a little pampering. For parents in need of a bit of relaxation, there is an adults-only pool, world class spa, and a championship golf course.
There are 443 wonderfully decorated guest rooms here, including 68 spacious suites, with modern and stylish interiors designed with cool creams and bright blues. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the parks, so you can watch Magic Kingdom fireworks light up the sky from the comfort of your own room or suite.
The Four Seasons Resort has four exceptional restaurants serving a range of cuisines, from tapas and steak to Italian food. Capa Bar and Restaurant offers beautiful views over the parks and has exceptional views of the fireworks in the evening. The food here is divine, and we strongly recommend a reservation during your stay. Lickety-Split is a great place for kids to come for a sweet treat in the afternoon or for early-bird families to grab and go in the morning.
The resort offers 448 guest rooms including 68 suites, all featuring contemporary, light and airy decor and thoughtful touches for a relaxing stay from the lounge chairs on your terrace or balcony through to tranquil mosaic style marble bathrooms.
All guest rooms are over a generous 500 square foot in size, the only difference being the views. The Four Seasons Rooms do not offer views, the Golden Oak Rooms have residential views and the Lake View Rooms have views across the lake and golf course. Park View Rooms are the most sought after as they offer views over to the Magic Kingdom's nightly firework display.
The suites offer beautiful accommodations with a separate lounge and bedroom. They also feature two bathrooms and large balconies, perfect for a family oasis. They offer the same view structure as the rooms.
For the ultimate luxury, opt for the Presidential or Grand Suite on the top floors of the hotel. Extend the suites to three, four or more bedrooms for the most luxurious and spacious accommodations, with the best views.
All rooms and suites feature decadent amenities including flat screen TV and DVD player, iPod docks, thick terry bathrobes, down pillows, complimentary standard internet, minibar, twice daily housekeeping and 24 hour in room dining.
Walt Disney World is made for children and the Four Seasons Orlando is wonderfully family friendly with a warm welcome for younger guests. Interconnecting rooms and suites are perfect for families. Child size bathrobes, complimentary baby and children's bathroom amenities and babysitting are all available.
Explorer Island has been specially designed with kids in mind and includes a family pool, splash zone, lazy river and water slide, perfect to cool off in after a day in the parks. The Kids For All Seasons program is also located on the island. The club is for children aged 5-12 years and trained staff arrange activities and entertainments for younger guests.

This beautiful hotel offers all you would expect from a Four Seasons with a Disney twist. I was really impressed with the attention to detail and how the hotel has incorporated Disney features, such as the stunning chandelier hanging in the entrance lobby which was custom built to replicate the impressive nightly firework display visible from the rooftop restaurant. The Four Seasons is by far the most luxury way to do Disney in style, the multiple pools and lazy river offer the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon after a busy morning in Disney. Guests at the resort also benefit from magic hours at the Disney theme parks meaning less crowds and more time to spend on the multiple ride and attractions.

Wow what can I say about this hotel, the luxury starts from the very entrance, this private gated resort is right next to the Disney parks but far enough out of it that you don't have to be too involved if you don't want to. This beautiful new hotel boasts the best facilities and services for families with a lazy river, water slides and an upscale Character Breakfast three times a week but also has the luxury you would expect from a Four Seasons with an adult's only pool, sleek gym and beautiful spa.
Disney Character Breakfasts
Whether you want to have breakfast with Goofy or lunch with Cinderella, the magic of Disney can make it happen. Character meals are available throughout the Disney resort but sell out fast due to high demand!
Kennedy Space Center SpacePass
The SpacePass ticket offers the most comprehensive Kennedy Space Center experience. The ticket combines all the elements of normal admission plus the 'Dine With an Astronaut' program and an exclusive tour to the more restricted areas of the complex.
