One of the most exclusive locations in the city, right at the end of Rodeo Drive
Iconic hotel that was central to the film "Pretty Woman"
Superb Four Seasons service and facilities
Family friendly environment to retreat to
Fantastic location for exploring Beverly Hills, Hollywood and all of LA
Los Angeles has a year-round climate. Summer (June - September) is the peak-tourist season, this is when the weather is hottest but beaches can be over crowded. January and February are the rainiest months. If you are visiting in May, June or July, watch out for the 'marine layer', a cloudy overcast, almost fog-like cloud which may affect the beach and first mile or so of the coastal strip, especially in the mornings.
This iconic hotel is in the most enviable of locations at the end of shoppers paradise, Rodeo Drive, in the heart of exclusive Beverly Hills. The Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire offers elegance along with the impeccable service expected from this address.
Built in 1928 at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, the Beverly Wilshire (A Four Seasons hotel) is about as Beverly Hills as you can get! Just a stone's throw from magical Beverly Hills and "the" LA shopping street of Rodeo Drive, this is also a luxury shoppers paradise. From Prada to Bvlgari, it's all here..
Upon entering the lobby, you are immediately made to feel extra special with the grand marbled floors and stunning crystal chandelier awaiting you, offering a stately yet luxuriously lovely feel. The impeccable front desk and concierge staff go out of their way to accommodate any request. Recognise the lobby? Well if you've ever seen the movie "Pretty Woman" this was where some of it was filmed.
Although the hotel has 395 guest rooms, it feels surprisingly spacious but not overwhelming. The guest rooms and suites are spread across two wings. The Wilshire Wing overlooks the fashionable corner of Wilshire Boulevard and the Beverly Wing which looks over the lush residential areas of Beverly Hills. All rooms are designed in classic European decor with cool cream tones the Beverly Wing offering a slightly more modern feel than the Wilshire Wing.
Although the surrounding area offers some superb dining options, it's definitely worth staying comfortably in the hotel for a little gourmet delight as well. Try Wolfgang Puck's steakhouse, "CUT". It attracts a stylish crowd and features a wonderful selection of distinct beef from all over the world and an extensive wine list to complement. The Beverly Wilshire's other dining option - the classy "The Blvd" serves meals throughout the day and has a great al fresco restaurant seating area - the perfect spot to see and be seen in Beverly Hills, perfect for a spot of relaxation after a full day in LA.
Whether it is your first visit to Beverly Hills or a return to a familiar friend, the Beverly Wilshire is sure to delight and enhance your LA stay. The cast of "Pretty Woman" may be long gone but the sophistication and exclusivity of the Beverly Wilshire remains as true today
The hotel offers 395 airy rooms including 137 suites which are split over two buildings. The 10 storey Wilshire Wing is the original building at the corner of Wilshire and Rodeo, while the 14-storey Beverly Wing is slightly more contemporary and looks across the luxurious residential area of Beverly Hills.
The two side-by-side buildings are connected by a beautiful porte-cochère featuring a majestic gate inspired by Buckingham Palace.
Some of the most popular accommodations are the Signature and Signature Balcony rooms, which has a furnished balcony - perfect for outdoor breakfasts or afternoon cocktails. Signature Balcony Rooms are mostly on higher floors and offer an exclusive indoor and outdoor experience of Beverly Hills. For those who wish to live the "Pretty Woman" dream, the Penthouse Suite is the place to be and offers opulence and luxury at it's finest.
The Beverly Wilshire welcomes families, and offers complimentary cribs, rollaway beds and infant furnishings for children, subject to maximum occupancy. Children's menus are available in the restaurants and in room dining. Babysitting can also be arranged with advanced notice.
Dining at the Beverly Wilshire is a pleasure. Choose from CUT, a contemporary twist on the classic steakhouse, offering an array of creative steak and seafood options designed by Chef Wolfgang Puck. Or The Blvd, Beverly Wilshire's other dining option, a more sophisticated affair which offers innovative meals throughout the day.
THE Blvd Lounge is the place to see and be seen, with opulent sofas and an 18 foot illuminated onxy bar, it's the perfect spot for a pre or post dinner cocktail. The Mediterranean style pool is the perfect place to relax if LA is getting too much for you. Enjoy a shot glass smoothie from the Pool Bar & Cafe or allow yourself to be spritzed with Evian by one of the attendants. Total decadence! Overlooking the pool is a fully equipped bi level fitness centre. Yoga sessions are also available.
The Spa at the Beverly Wilshire is an opportunity for total indulgence. With an array of pampering treatments on offer as well as products by Natura Bliss, one of the most exclusive brands in the world.
Beyond the hotel, LA is your oyster and with so many options for tours, experiences and adventures you will be spoilt for choice. There are excellent trails at Runyon Canyon for hikers, for tennis enthusiasts, although there are no courts on site, guests have use of the La Cienega tennis club around 10-minutes away.
