The most exclusive accommodation at the Four Seasons is the Private Residences. Perfect for family vacations in Whistler, these offer comfortable and extremely luxurious accommodation which feels like a home from home. Set apart from the main hotel, the Residences are beautifully designed and decorated, with earth's natural elements in mind. They have sweeping views of the surrounding forest, valley or mountains from private furnished terraces accessed by enormous French windows. They feature professional kitchens, spacious living areas, state-of-the-art home entertainment systems and pampering bathrooms with deep soak tubs. Everything you need for a luxurious mountainside lodge stay.
Whilst all the Resort's facilities are open to Residence guests. you will enjoy a concierge service dedicated to the Private Residences and a separate health club. After a hard day on the slopes, enjoy the world-class spa with fifteen treatment rooms providing a superb choice of therapies including massage (also available in room), hydro-therapy, couples treatments and beauty therapy.
The Four Seasons Whistler has a fantastic restaurant, Fifty Two 80 Bistro (named after the number of feet which can be skied on Blackcomb Mountain’s vertical mile). Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy the fabulous views of the surrounding mountains sat beside a roaring fire. Or dine at Sidecut which serves up a wide variety of regional meats, including Canadian prime beef from Alberta and British Columbia fallow venison loin, and entrees sourced from the nearby Pacific Ocean and local mountain lakes, such as Queen Charlotte Sound halibut or wild Chinook salmon. The resort has an extensive cellar with over 200 wines.

The Four Seasons Resort Private Residences are beautifully designed and furnished. Ranging from two, three to four bedrooms, they are all spacious and luxurious. Each one enjoys superb views of the mountains and surrounding forests from a balcony or terrace.

These bi-level or single-floor suites offer spacious comfort for families and friends. These residences include four king beds or three king beds and two twin beds, which can accommodate 9 adults, or 8 adults and 2 children. Each room is large enough for a cot, and there is a queen sofa bed in the den. Three full bathrooms, plus two guest powder rooms with showers. Total size 339 – 344 (m2).

Children are very welcome at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler. The restaurants have kids and teen menus, and there are in-room dining options for 9-18 year olds. There are child sized bath robes and slippers and a babysitting service is available. The children’s program “Kidding around” offers evening entertainment and the resort has fantastic winter and summer programs providing a wealth of activities for kids of all ages.

After a day of schussing down the same slopes as the world’s Olympians, come to a full stop in the freeform outdoor swimming pool. Fully heated all year long, it’s a steamy oasis offering panoramic vistas of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Even the pool deck is heated for those last few barefoot steps before diving in. Three hot spring-style whirlpools await those who absorbed mogul after mogul.
The Four Seasons has a fully equipped gym with a wide range of elliptical and cardiovascular equipment. Personal trainers can give both individual and group sessions.
|Spa and treatments||
The spa at the Four Seasons is well-appointed and provides an extensive list of treatments, some of which can be in-room. Try the "Sea-to-sky" signature massage, inspired by the famed air corridor of British Columbia, which uses products indigenous to the Canadian west coast. Or an invigorating body exfoliation followed by cascading waters from the rain-bar shower. A vitamin-enriched combination of heated clay and fresh wild seaweed, indigenous to Whistler, will leave your skin refreshed, alive and glowing. Perfect after a hard day on the slopes.
The dedicated Ski Concierge is on hand to get you onto the mountain with minimum fuss. The concierge can organize customized rentals, equipment transfers and direct ski lift access. On arrival at the concierge, you'll be welcomed and presented with dry boots, skis/boards and poles. From there, you'll be taken to the base of Whistler Mountain.
If this is your children’s first time on the slopes, the dedicated Ski Concierge can arrange skiing and snowboarding lessons. Dog sledding, snow tubing and horse-drawn sleigh rides are other fun-filled options. Search for Bald Eagles outside or enjoy a session of indoor rock climbing. One thing’s for sure, your children will never tell you they’re bored.

When to go
British Columbia benefits from some of the most regular and the deepest snowfalls anywhere in the world. The average seasonal snowfall at 1600m (5000 feet) is a spectacular 25 meters (75 feet), four or five times the average in most areas of the Alps. Winter temperatures average about 0°C during the day and -6°C overnight in the village with snow typically on the ground from Dec into April. Summers days can be quite warm, with temperatures reaching the high 20s.
