To start planning your vacation to Ten-ee-ah Lodge
In between 100 Mile House and Williams Lake lies a turning that brings you to the edge of tranquil Sprout Lake. The perfect away from it all spot for a relaxing couple of days, Ten-ee-ah Lodge welcomes the weary traveler with open arms.
The lodge is small and intimate with a fusion of Canadian and European hospitality. It offers the definitive "log cabin on a lake" experience that epitomizes the Canadian wilderness, yet with many of the comforts of home including good wholesome food with excellent wine to accompany meals, comfortable accommodations and plenty of activities on offer to make the most of your stay.
We recommend the luxury log homes. These spacious two and three bedroom log cabins comfortably accommodate families of up to 6 and give guests the benefit of plenty of space, their own kitchenette and your own porch and fire pit to enjoy together.
Time at Ten-ee-ah is spent enjoying this beautiful environment, be that by exploring one of the hiking trails, taking to the saddle on horseback or paddling the lake in a canoe, it is all available from the lodge.
Anglers are well catered for with Sprout Lake being an ideal trout fishing lake, there are also two further waterways close by that offer fishing as well, equipment is available to hire.
A lovely unique activity available for guests involves the two resident float planes on the lake. Take to the skies with your pilot guide and experience this stunning wilderness area from up above. Qualified pilots staying at the lodge as guests also have the opportunity to learn how to fly the float plane in a 7 hour training package available, an amazing opportunity to experience of flying a float plane first hand.
Ten-ee-ah Lodge offers an authentic Canadian experience. It is not a luxury lodge and is well suited for more independent guests looking to spend time together as a couple or family in a beautiful environment. Rather than being a destination experience, we recommend a stay at the lodge as part of a longer self drive tour of British Columbia. It combines beautifully with Tweedsmuir Park Lodge and drives across from the Rockies.
Ten-ee-ah Lodge offers three different styles of accommodation.
2 simple guest rooms in the main lodge, both with en suite bathroom
8 Deluxe Cabins laid out as studio, one, two or three bedrooms and 3 Luxury Log Homes with two or three bedrooms. Each accommodation offers individual rustic accommodation and open fireplace or log burner, kitchenette, living area, outside deck with deckchairs, a fire pit and picnic table
The log cabins are the most luxurious accommodations available and ideal for families.
Children are welcome at Ten-ee-ah Lodge and there are plenty of activities ideal for families. There are no specific children's facilities though.
The lodge is set on the edge of Sprout Lake in 25 acres. The lodge has a restaurant serving European style cuisine and wines from all over the world and the bar is an inviting environment for an evening drink and a chat. During warm summer evenings the lodge often prepares a barbecue dinner for guests.
There is a games room with billiards and darts, a guest library and a small gift shop.
There is no TV or telephone at the lodge although there is internet access available.
The lodge has a philosophy of "active relaxation" and offers a number of activities for all ages.
Horse riding is part of the lodge experience and experienced guides organize daily 2 hour rides for all standards. Full day trail rides are also available.
Canoes are available from the dock to explore Sprout Lake and motor boats are also available for an additional hourly charge.
