Hotel Le Toiny nestles on a remote and unspoilt hillside on the south east coast of St Barths in an area of the island known as Côte Sauvage. This is a small and stylish Relais & Chateaux property with architecture influenced by the old plantation houses of the French West Indies.

Newly renovated, there are 15 stylish fully detached private bungalows in the heart of a 17 hectare palm grove bordered by Toiny beach. Each Bungalow with mahogany four-poster beds, private pools with glorious views down to the Caribbean Sea and beyond. Surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape, La Villa boasts a Master Villa and two luxury bungalows. The Master Villa's spacious interior, with vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors and French Colonial inspired decor, includes a large living room, a kitchenette and a black marble bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.

The Le Toiny Restaurant, overlooking the main pool and the Caribbean Sea, serves up a menu of delicious fresh seafood, influenced by a range of dishes and flavors from around the world. Ingredients are sourced locally where possible, so expect red snapper, mahi-mahi and shrimp, all freshly grilled on the outdoor barbecue. There is also a brand new open-air bar, offering delectable champagne and cocktails in a cosy and relaxed setting, perfect for a pre-dinner aperitif.

Hotel Le Toiny also has a partnership with ‘Ligne St Barth’ allowing guests to enjoy a range of beauty treatments in the intimacy of their Villa Suite or in the ‘Serenity Spa Cottage’. The beach at Anse Le Toiny is a 10-minute stroll down the hill and there are plenty of water sports on offer. Boat excursions around the island and hiking trips can also be arranged by the hotel.

Hotel Le Toiny features 1 Junior suite with pool, 13 One-Bedroom Villa Suites with pool, 1 Two/Three-Bedroom Villa Suite with private pool named ‘La Villa’ that sleeps six. All suites and villas provide the most incredible and breathtaking views of the Caribbean ocean.

Hotel Le Toiny St Barths is a 5-star tropical all-villa resort paradise overlooking the Caribbean Sea on the hills of St. Barth comprised of 15 colonial style fully detached private bungalows in the heart of a 17 hectare palm grove bordered by Toiny beach. Whilst some are open concept, one-bedroom, or 3 bedroom, they comprise the entirety of the Hotel Le Toiny St Barths inventory of rooms. Never shared, this affords each couple a maximum level of intimacy and privacy. You will hear no footsteps and there will be no interruptions - particularly when your "Red-Flag" is raised on the gate of your villa's property. This Hotel Le Toiny "Do Not Disturb" sign has become world famous.

Children are welcome to come and stay at Hotel Le Toiny. However, there are no specific facilities available for children at the hotel except for babysitting which can be arranged upon request.

Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, Serenity Spa Cottage and fitness room.

In your suites you can request to have either treadmills, steppers, stationary or elliptical bikes for your complimentary use. Use of the neighbouring tennis courts is also complimentary and masks, snorkels and beach chairs will be put in your suite. Activities at an additional charge include spa treatments in the intimacy of your suite and land and sea excursions.

The Director Suite has a master house and 2 adjacent bungalows (the rooms do not interconnect). Each room is detached with its own walkway and entrance and therefore can be accommodated on a 2 Bedroom or 3 Bedroom occupancy.

When to travel

Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
