The accommodation at Half Moon has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind. The facilities at Half Moon are extensive and include four bars and three restaurants serving contemporary Caribbean and Italian cuisines, including the fine-dining Sugar Mill restaurant, recognised as Jamaica's best. For the adventurous there is an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course, an equestrian center, a certified Spinning studio, 11 flood lit tennis courts and a superb range of water sports. The Deluxe Rooms, ranging from 32 - 60m², are tucked behind garden alcoves in a cluster of whitewashed cottages, offer views of the sea or tropical gardens from the private patio or balcony. Rooms come with twin beds that can be converted to one king-size bed.
Spacious and comfortably elegant, the Junior Suites are ideal for small families or those looking for a bit more space. These charming suites range from 39 - 53m² and offer an inviting living area, twin or king beds, and a balcony or patio with views of the gardens or the Caribbean Sea.
The two-story Duplex Suites are ideal for families. Ranging from 70 - 88m², featuring a colorful and spacious ensuite bedroom on the first floor and airy living area and bathroom on the ground floor (reconfigurable into a second bedroom if required), they also include a kitchen (a personal cook can be arranged) and large patio with ocean or garden views.

The 60m² beachfront Hibiscus Junior Suites are housed in two storey cottages and offer magnificent views, plantation-style décor and expansive patios or balconies overlooking the sea. Each suite features a large bedroom with king or double beds, living area and over-sized bathroom.
The 65 - 90m² Royal Suites offer an elegantly appointed and spacious bedroom with king or twin beds, separate living area, oversized bathroom, and private balcony or patio with views of the Caribbean Sea or the Half Moon gardens. Guests staying in the Royal Suites have access to a semi-private pool.

Elegantly appointed with handcrafted rattan furnishings and grand four-poster beds, the two-bedroom, ocean view Hibiscus Junior Suites offer a inviting living area, connecting bedrooms (with king or double beds) that can be closed for privacy and spacious bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub.
The Imperial Suites are one of the most luxurious lodging options. These timeless, one-bedroom suites feature lavish Queen Anne mahogany reproductions with vibrant Caribbean touches. Large living rooms, spacious bedrooms (with king or twin beds) and breathtaking views invite guests to relax and unwind. All Imperial Suite guests receive VIP check-in, champagne upon arrival, a daily newspaper of the guest’s choice, one Half Moon robe per adult and a welcome gift. Half Moon offers Imperial Suites with both garden and ocean views. They vary enormously in size and layout, the largest being 34 in Cottage 1 which has a 40ft living room.

Surrounded by fragrant gardens or located ocean side, the five-bedroom villa is tastefully decorated with vibrant Caribbean colors and Colonial-style furniture. Typically, these villas are designed with the master-bedroom suite upstairs, (overlooking the sea or garden) and the other four bedrooms on the ground level. A large living area, kitchen and private pool are also included. Maximum occupancy: 10 people.

Step out of your luxurious villa and onto your own private balcony or patio. This villa is certainly large enough to share with friends or family, and the expansive living areas allow for plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Beautifully appointed with bright tropical colors and king-size beds, this is the ultimate beach escape. Maximum occupancy: 12 people.
|Seven Bedroom Villa||
The seven-bedroom villa is the ultimate gathering place. The largest villa, it offers two floors of luxury, welcoming guests with a grand living room and carved stairway leading to the second floor. Four bedrooms are on the second level, and the remaining three bedrooms, large kitchen and formal dining area complete the ground floor. Private pool and gardens surround. Maximum occupancy: 14-people.
Half Moon places enormous emphasis on children and they are treated like VIPs. The Anancy Children’s Village, modelled on a typical Jamaican village, has brightly colored painted buildings that are guaranteed to enliven the spirits of young visitors. Anancy the Spider and his friends form the central theme around which activities and learning programs are planned for children aged 3 to 6 and 7 to 12 years old (youngest children need to be out of nappies). The charge for a half day session is US$35 per child and US$55 per child for a full day session. Packages are also available. Please note these charges are subject to change without notice.
Families with children who are not potty trained can take advantage of their nanny service to accompany children at the Children’s Village.
Little ones will have the time of their lives during their Jamaican vacation as they create puppet shows in Tacoomah Hut, enjoy cold refreshments in Patoo’s Lookout, get creative in Artsy Kraftsy or listen to captivating stories in Tacoomah hut. There are shaded play areas, activity rooms, a paddling pool, sand box, and expansive outdoor play area with each activity professionally supervised. Babysitting services are available at an extra charge. Special menus and early seatings are available for families with young children at the Seagrape Terrace.

When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
