The Santa Isabel is located just a few minutes from the place where the village of San Cristobal de La Habana was founded. This regal mansion of the Santovenia Counts became, in 1867, the favorite hotel for ship-owners, artists, traders and distinguished travelers who chose it due to its comfort and elegance.
Following its re-opening in the late 1990s, the Santa Isabel has maintained the comfort and distinction that always characterized it. The building also retains many of its original architectural elements. This typical colonial mansion consists of 27 spacious rooms and suites decorated in the old 19th century style, an elegant restaurant and an exclusive inner courtyard.
From its magnificent viewpoint-terrace, guests can enjoy a perfect view of the Havana bay and many of the ancient buildings of the city.
The Santa Isabel has a total of 27 guest rooms, made up of 17 Standard Rooms, 9 Junior Suites and 1 Suite. The Standard Rooms have French balcony doors opening onto an outdoor terrace, whilst the Junior Suites have an indoor sitting area. All the rooms and suites are air conditioned.
Children are very welcome at the Santa Isabel, and babysitting can be arranged upon request, but there are no specific facilities or guaranteed interconnecting rooms.
