Paradisus Princesa del Mar
One of only a few more upmarket Cuban beach resorts, although large, the Paradisus Princesa del Mar offers guests modern and comfortable accommodation on Cuba’s best beach. This adults-only hotel has a good choice of facilities and a beachfront location.
We don't currently feature Paradisus Princesa del Mar as part of our portfolio of properties in Cuba. Please contact our specialists for alternatives.
At a Glance
One of the most comfortable hotels in the all-inclusive resort of Varadero and adults-only
Towards the end of the peninsula so a bit more tranquil and opposite one of the best stretches of beach
We recommend the more exclusive Royal Service area of the hotel
Being a larger all-inclusive it does offer a bit more choice when it comes to meals (food is not a Cuban forte!) than the more basic beach hotels
Within driving distance of Havana airport so can combine well at the beginning or end of a vacation to Cuba

The Paradisus Princesa del Mar is an adults-only all-inclusive and offers guests access to a pristine stretch of beach, spa and a range of restaurants serving international food. It is a good option to relax after exploring the Cuban sites and is conveniently located a couple of hours to the east of Havana.
The resort has 630 rooms, made up of Junior Suites and Suites. All with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, CD player, stocked mini-bar with soft drinks, bottled water and beer, replenished daily. Tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar, safety deposit box, iron and board, and hairdryer. The hotel also offers a Royal Service section, where guests access their own butler service, restaurant, pool area and check in. We recommend guests book this, although please note that the butler service is new to Cuban hoteliers and not yet as efficient as in other Caribbean destinations.
Alongside a host of activities, including beach volleyball, tennis, t’ai chi, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and scuba diving, there are also a selection of unique experiences such as salsa classes, wine-tasting, art classes, cooking demonstrations and Spanish lessons that will really enrich your stay. Both local and international cuisine is on offer at the numerous restaurants.
The Paradisus Princesa del Mar has 630 rooms in total. All of them are Junior Suites and Suites with views of the sea, gardens or pools.

When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
