Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort and Spa is renowned for its prime location offering spectacular views over Hamilton Harbour. The beautiful surroundings, attentive staff and luxurious amenities will enter guests into a relaxed state of mind as soon as they arrive at the resort.
Accommodation at Newstead Belmont Hills is unique as all the rooms are suites. You can opt for a studio, or a one, two or three bedroom suite. The suites have a private balcony or terrace with views of Hamilton Harbour, a sleeper sofa, full kitchens, separate living areas and deluxe private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs.
Newstead Belmont Hills is home to the award winning Blu Bar & Grill which serves delicious steak and seafood specialities. Beau Rivage is another restaurant on site serving tempting French cuisine which you can enjoy with spectacular harbor views. There are of course nearby grocery shops and room service should you wish to enjoy the comfort and views of your suites whilst dining.
The Newstead Spa is the perfect place to indulge in a bit of pampering with a range of treatments and facilities available. There is a 24-hour fitness suite for those of you who want to keep up your fitness regime whilst away. There is a sunbathing deck which overlooks the harbor, an infinity pool for you to refresh in, tennis courts for a friendly knock about or competitive match, a business center and an 18-hole golf course.
The resort is ideally located to make the most of Bermuda’s natural and historical attractions. With its expansive coastline, there are many watersport activities on offer, over 400 shipwrecks to discover, and much colonial heritage to learn about. The resort has a daily water shuttle service to nearby Hamilton and a beach shuttle to the private Coco Reef Beach Club where you will have access to sun loungers, umbrellas, a pool and service.
Accommodation at Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa is mostly in the form of suites. Guest can choose from a deluxe room, a studio, or a one, two or three bedroom suites. They are all contemporary in style with a strong hint of old-world charm to give them an island feel. All have beautiful views of the harbor and infinity pool, WiFi and a large private balcony or terrace. Suites in addition have sleeper sofas, full kitchens, separate living areas and luxurious private bathrooms with showers and Jacuzzi tubs.
Had two double beds, a 26" flat screen TV and a small refrigerator, plus all the other standard amenities. It measures 450 sq. ft.

Features a separate living area, king size bed, dining and work area, full kitchen, spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower and a spacious balcony. Also has sleeper sofas to accommodate extra guests. The measure between 900-1100 sq. ft.
These have separate entrances, a full kitchen, powder room, separate dining and living areas, spacious balcony and a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two double beds. They are both en-suite. It measures 1,500-1,700 sq. ft. Perfect choice of accommodation if you are traveling as a family or with friends or are simply there for an extended period of time and want some more space.
These are located in the historical Shoreby building. Features the same amenities as the two-bedroom suites but all rooms have king size beds and the living spaces are larger. The space measures over 2,500 sq. ft.
Children are welcome to come and stay at Newstead Belmont Hills. However, there are no specific facilities available for them at the hotel.
During your time at Newstead you can enjoy some fine dining at two of the resort’s restaurants: Blu at Belmont Hills and Beau Rivage. Ar both restaurants you can enjoy your cuisine to magnificent views of Hamilton Harbor. Blu at Belmont Hills overlooks the golf course and is renowned for its steaks and seafood, so much so it was recognised as one of the “100 Best Restaurants in the World” by Condé Nast as well as being awarded “Bermuda Gold” status, so dining here will be a memorable experience. There is also a daily sushi Happy Hour and a tempting Sunday Brunch. Beau Rivage is Bermuda’s only French restaurant and the menu consists of creative and traditional French dishes using locally sourced produce. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Golf course was designed in 2002 by renowned golf course architect Algie M. Pulley Jr and it encompasses Bermuda’s natural beauty. It consists of 6,100 yards of bunkers, multi-tiered greens and fairways. There are 18 holes in total, two man made ponds, hundreds of trees and one staggering backdrop.
The Spa is a wonderful retreat to relax and indulge in some pampering. There is a range of beauty treatments, body massages and facials available to leave you feeling soothed and ready to face the world.
You can be as active or as inactive as you want during your time at Newstead Belmont Hills. The concierge service are at your disposal to advise on available activities to suit your preference and to make any booking, reservations or general organising of logistics and excursions for you.
Onsite, you can play a spot of tennis or have some coaching on the tennis courts, spend some time at the fitness suite for a feel good factor, take a refreshing dip in the beautiful infinity pool, catch some rays on the sunbathing deck or indulge in some much needed pampering and relaxation time in the spa. Or of course, make the most of your complimentary round of golf (one guest per room).
There is a private water shuttle to Hamilton so it is easy for you to access the city for some exploration. There is also a seasonal shuttle to the private beach club which has two tiers of seating, great snorkeling opportunities and generally very smooth waters. Guests have access to their beach chairs, umbrellas, pool and food service.
With its lengthy coastline, there are many watersports on offer in Bermuda and shipwrecks to explore. You could arrange a tour of the Royal Navy Dockyard or Bermuda Maritime Museum to acquaint yourself with the history of the island. The aquarium, zoo and botanical gardens are also worth a visit – the former two are especially popular with families.

Newstead Belmont Hill Golf Resort & Spa is located on the western coast of the Bermuda, just 5-minutes by water from the capital Hamilton. The resort overlooks the beautiful Hamilton Harbor.
When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
