These two bedroom suites, located in the Orchid Wing overlooking the stunning tropical gardens, boast more than enough room for four to stay in comfort with 146m² of floor space. The one bedroom Dolphin Suites are located in the Dolphin Wing and offer stunning views of the blue Caribbean waters. These suites have a warm residential feel and are a spacious place for two with 134m² of floor space. They feature a large living room, expansive balcony or patio with dining area and a large bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom.

These two bedroom suites, located in the Dolphin Wing with beautiful ocean views, boast more than enough room for four to stay in comfort with 146m² of floor space. They include a large patio with seating and a dining area, an elegant living room, master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large walk-in wardrobe and a smaller second bedroom, ideal for children, with ensuite bathroom and a private balcony.
The two Penthouses offer the ultimate in luxury with 369m² of floor space. There are two large bedrooms on opposite sides of the Penthouse, each of which features a large walk-in wardobe, ensuite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower and a private patio with seating and dining areas. Between the two sumptuous bedrooms there is an expansive living area with large dining table and a patio with seating and dining space. The Penthouse can be combined with a Luxury Orchid Suite to create a four bedroom penthouse.
Sandy Lane is very family friendly, and there are good facilities for children of all ages at the resort. The complimentary Treehouse Club, which has a weekly activity program, caters for children aged 3 to 12 years old, and is open from 10am to 8pm daily (closes between 5 - 6pm). There is also a "toddlers' corner" where children aged 0 to 3 must be accompanied. Christmas and Easter are particularly fun, with extra seasonal activities organized.
The hotel has children’s menus and under 12s receive a complimentary breakfast and dinner during the summer. Nanny services and babysitting are available at an additional charge.
Facilities at the resort include three golf courses (two designed by Tom Fazzio), spa, fitness center, nine championship floodlit tennis courts, four restaurants and five bars.
Complimentary activities include use of the swimming pool, spa, gym, tennis, sailing and group exercise sessions. Activities at an additional charge include water skiing, golf, off-site scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, catamaran sailing and yacht charter, spa treatments, personal training programs, vibrogym, pilates and yoga classes.
Guest services from unpacking your luggage on arrival to serving your favorite cocktails on the veranda. There is a minimum stay of 14 nights required over the festive period.

Sandy Lane is located on the western coast of Barbados, frequently called the 'platinum coast' for the beauty of its beaches and sparkling waters. Over looking Sandy Lane Bay in St. James, Sandy Lane is central to many of the island's sites, making it a great place to explore the island.
When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
