Located on half a mile of white, sandy beach on the beautiful west coast of Barbados, the Fairmont Royal Pavilion sits in an 11-acre estate in the parish of St. James. The 72 deluxe ocean front rooms are tastefully decorated in a relaxed Caribbean style, and modelled on magnificent ocean vistas, each room with its own private terrace or balcony. The architecture and interior design reflects the rich heritage of Barbados, taking inspiration from a typical Barbadian plantation home, with hardwood floors, muted interior tones and traditional furnishings.
The resort offers guests two fantastic dining options at Palm Terrace and Café Taboras serving a mouthwatering combination of contemporary flair with Michelin starred expertise using only the finest local ingredients. Other facilities include the spa offering a full range of treatments, including body scrubs, facials and a range of alternative therapies all in the comfort of your own room. Those staying in the Beachfront Suites can also request that their butler set up afternoon tea in their room or on their sundeck.
For those who would like to develop their culinary prowess, there are complimentary weekly cooking classes. They are on offer Tuesday before lunch to really excite ones taste buds.
Ocean swimming is on your doorstep and the hotel also has access to a health club/spa and a nearby golf course. There are two tennis courts and an outdoor freshwater swimming pool on-site. The Beachfront Junior Suites offer the ultimate in personalized care from the minute guests arrive in Barbados, offering an airport fast-track Platinum Service. On-property, guests enjoy butler service and complimentary evening canapés.
Beachfront Junior Suites are tastefully decorated in a warm tropical style and include a king-size bed, a spacious bathroom with shower and separate bathtub and luxury Le Labo toiletries. A private furnished deck and outdoor living room directly overlook the resort's stunning half-mile beach. There is also a comfortable indoor seating area from which to enjoy the ocean view.

The exclusive villa is nestled in the middle of a lush tropical garden, less than 100 meters from the beach. The Two Bedroom Villa Suite includes king-size bedrooms and en suite bathrooms with Le Labo toiletries. The shared spacious living room features seating and dining areas. Villa Suites are equipped with complimentary wifi, flat screen TV, DVD/CD players, and bluetooth-enabled speakers.
|Three Bedroom Sea View Villa||
The exclusive villa is nestled in the middle of a lush tropical garden, less than 100 meters from the beach. The Three Bedroom Villa Suite includes king-size bedrooms and en suite bathrooms with Le Labo toiletries. The shared spacious living room features seating and dining areas. Villa Suites are equipped with complimentary wifi, flat screen TV, DVD/CD players, and bluetooth-enabled speakers.
For part of the year, the Fairmont Royal Pavilion operates as an adult only resort. However, from March 15th to October 31st and from December 20th to January 5th, children of all ages are welcome with complimentary daily activities and entertainment. For children aged between 4 and 12 years, activities include movie nights, turtle trips, sandcastle competitions, cooking classes, arts and crafts, games and talent shows. For those aged 13 and older, they include snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boats, Hobie cat sailing, beach cricket, football, tennis and Wii.
Certified babysitters are available to monitor and entertain babies and toddlers (24 hours notice is needed). Cots are available at no extra charge. Delicious and healthy children's menus are also available.
Facilities at the resort include a fresh water swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, restaurant, bar, café and access to hair dressing salon and local health spa.
Complimentary activities include use of the fresh water swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi, tennis, fitness center, windsurfing, snorkeling, water skiing, kayaking, sunfish and catamaran sailing. Complimentary afternoon tea is served at 4pm daily. Activities at an additional charge include deep-sea fishing, off-site golf, access to local health spa and scuba diving.
Babysitting services are available at an additional charge.

Location & Directions
Located on the west coast of Barbados in St James parish. Fairmont Royal Pavilion is situated 20 miles from the airport, 8 miles from the capital city of Bridgetown, and a half mile from the nearest shopping center in Holetown.
When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
