Year-round destination. The summers are generally warm and dry, while winters tend to be wet and cool, the rains brought on by fierce north westerly gales. Neither season experiences extremes of temperature, thanks to prevailing winds. Summer (Nov-Mar) is the hottest with temperatures 20-40°C. Mid season (Apr, May, Sep, Oct) temps between 10-30°C. Winter (from June- Aug) is the low season with temps 0-25°C.

Sea Star Rocks is a stylish, boutique hotel overlooking the town and beach of Camps Bay. With just six guest rooms, Sea Star Rocks offers a secluded and private getaway, complete with superb views of the ocean, Lion's Head and Table Mountain.
A boutique hotel in a fantastic location, Sea Star Rocks avoids the hustle and bustle of Cape Town, but still sits within easy access of all this vibrant city has to offer.
Just a 20-minute drive to the V&A Waterfront and central Cape Town, the city is easily explored, and guests will have a peaceful space to return to after a day in town. Between Lion's Head, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles, Sea Star Rocks is surrounded by natural beauty, as well as the glamorous bars and restaurants of Camps Bay.
There are just six rooms at Sea Star Rocks, each offering fantastic, panoramic sea views, across Camps Bay beach towards Lion's Head. Contemporary, open-plan design combined with large, floor-to-ceiling windows ensures each room feels bright and spacious. Each room offers a private terrace or balcony, one of which contains its own private plunge pool.
The main dining and lounge area continues the stylish, contemporary theme, complete with Roche Bobois chairs and large, vibrant Tretchikoff prints adorning the walls. This is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, enjoying a glass of local wine while admiring the stunning views.
Sea Star Rocks provides a state-of-the-art 18-meter infinity pool adjacent to the two Pool Rooms. Take in the views from the pool as you swim, or alternatively unwind in the Jacuzzi.
Sea Star Rocks has a total of just 6 rooms. Each has a fantastic sea view looking towards Camps Bay beach and Lion's Head. Large windows allow for panoramic views, and each room has a private terrace on which to enjoy a peaceful drink and watch the sun set.
The Pool Rooms are located next to the infinity pool and Jacuzzi, and offer 30 sqm of space in which to relax. The rooms contain a king-size bed, free-standing bathtub and shower, as well as a 50-inch LCD television.

The Sea Star Rocks Suites measure a spacious 60 sqm, and offer either a terrace or balcony. 2.6-meter high windows offer stunning views of the ocean and Lion's Head. The bathroom provides a free-standing bathtub as well as a rainshower, and a 60-inch LCD television sits beside the lounge chairs and coffee table.

The Private Pool Suite is a luxurious 60 sqm, plus a terrace of 50 sqm which contains its own private plunge pool. An open-plan layout, the room has large windows offering panoramic views, as well as a welcoming living area with comfortable lounge chairs. The room has a 60-inch LCD television and a fireplace for cosy evenings. The bathroom provides a free-standing bathtub and rainshower.
Breakfast can be taken in the modern, contemporary dining area. Alternatively, enjoy a drink in the evening on the terrace overlooking Camps Bay.
