I really enjoyed my experience at Dugong. The absolute highlights have to be heading out on a laser sailing boat with one of the guides to sail me about (very spoiling!) and dolphins came up really close around us jumping through the water, it was incredible! Dolphins are regularly seen from Dugong right in front of the hotel. The other real highlight was just snorkeling around the pier at high tide right in front of the hotel, I saw a fantastic array of fish just steps away from the shoreline. The rooms themselves are very comfortable with spacious bathrooms and decks in front looking out to sea. Their design is not perhaps as stylish or homely as other places but certainly comfortable. What I particularly loved was the friendly staff, the remote location, the diving, snorkeling, walks along the beach and sailing. The food was definitely good, but not exceptional. It is the most affordable option Scott Dunn sells in Mozambique.
