  • Situated on the idyllic island of Bazaruto

  • Take a sunset cruise out to Paradise Island

  • World Class diving

Located on the beautiful private island of Bazaruto in the stunning archipelago of islands off the Mozambique coastline, Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort offers a great value island experience.

Anantara - the hotel brand renowned in the Far East with a superb collection of hotels in Thailand, is new to the Mozambique coastline. The brand is famous for high levels of service and food and these are areas that are being focussed on for the future here.

The 44 Beach, Sea view and Pool Suites include all the creature comforts you could want and have been designed in natural harmony with the unspoilt island surrounds. These are being refurbished and modernised, and are currently very spacious and comfortable but in areas a little dated.

Spend your days lazing on the beach, or with a cocktail in hand by the pool. There is also a pampering spa with an extensive range of treatments and specialist hydro facilities. With a dive and water sports activity centre, incredible diving, fishing and snorkelling excursions can be arranged, or trips to sandbank islands for picnics and some whale watching! For the more active, the fitness centre offers a chance to work off your lunch too. End your day with a horse-ride along the beach, or a sail on a local dhow boat at sunset.

The resort caters to both families and couples, with a family pool and an adults-only pool. There are several dining options including a private dining experience for a special treat. Breakfasts and dinners are typically a buffet with selection of international dishes, whilst lunches are a-la-carte and include snacks such as pizzas or salads.

For those looking for a beautiful island experience without breaking the bank, along with plenty of activities and facilities on offer, Anantara Bazurato is a great option.
