Recently opened in July 2019, Tuludi is the new camp from Natural Selection located in the game rich Khwai Private Reserve. The camp comprises seven sophisticated luxury tented rooms, each with their own private plunge pools.

Tuludi's unbeatable location on the Khwai Private Reserve means it offers guests incredible game viewing in a stunning part of the Okavango Delta. The camp provides an exclusivity that only a smaller camp can offer, whilst undoubtedly providing the excellent service that Natural Selection prides itself on. With only a handful of camps in this private reserve, Tuludi offers an almost exclusive game viewing experience where a range of beautiful animals can be viewed - keep an eye out for elephant, lion, leopard, wild dog and much more.

The camp itself offers plenty of private and communal space for guests to relax in during the day and evenings, with luxurious rooms offering a respite after a long game drive. The spacious rooms have been decorated in natural tones with a modern and contemporary design, to offer an exclusive and comfortable space, coming complete with a private plunge pool and sunken deck, the perfect spot from which to watch the sun set.

Guests staying at Tuludi will be able to experience the Delta in all its glory with a range of activities designed to make the most out of exploring the vast reserve. Game drives are taken in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are cooler and game is likely to be more active, whilst walking safaris with a knowledgeable guide are an excellent way to learn about some of the smaller creatures in the Delta, as well as the unique ecosystem of flora and fauna. This area of the Okavango Delta also floods from June to October, making it the perfect time of year for a boat safari or mokoro trip, where animals can be seen from a completely different perspective.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Tuludi will comprise of seven tented rooms, six of which will be twins or doubles and one family tent. Each room is large and spacious with lofty canvas roofs and plenty of light streaming into the 60 square meter rooms. The seven rooms will be connected by wooden boardwalks through the shade of leadwood trees, offering a sense of wilderness and privacy, as well as being decorated in earthy and natural tones in keeping with the surrounding of the Khwai area. The main area of the tent is a double or twin bedroom with a separate dressing area to the side and an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. The rooms will also have a private lounge and dining are where guests could take dinner, as well as a private plunge pool and sunken outside seating area - the perfect spot to watch the sun set.

Facilities

The main areas of Tuludi will afford plenty of space for guests to relax, a main swimming pool will provide a sociable place to relax, while a treehouse library elevated to offer spectacular views across Khwai is the perfect spot for a spot of reading and relaxation. There will be plug sockets in both the mess tent and in rooms, as well as complimentary laundry service and all meals, activities and local drinks included.

Activities

Located on over 200,000 hectares of the pristine wilderness of Khwai Private Concession, Tuludi offers some incredible game viewing opportunities. From early morning and late afternoon game drives through the concession and walking safaris with an experienced guide, to a boat safari or gliding through the lily pads and reeds on a traditional dug out mokoro, seeing the Delta from a completely different perspective.
