Description
Okuti is a beautiful and architecturally unique camp that sits overlooking a river within the Moremi Game Reserve, right in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Stay in one of the curved reed and thatch mosasa rooms (an ancient tribal word for house of reeds), each perched on the water's edge and offering a superb view of the reeds, birdlife and wildlife wandering past.
The wildlife in the region is diverse and found in good numbers, making it a great base for your safari adventures. Returning to the camp in the heat of the day and evenings, you are greeted by the sound of the breeze fluttering through the reeds, offering a tranquil retreat where you can relax. Activities include game-drives with knowledgeable guides and boat trips through the Delta's lagoons and channels.
There are eight mosasas here, one of which is a honeymoon room and two are family rooms which each have two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The camp caters well to youngsters, with children aged 7 and above welcome year-round. Each of the tents is ensuite with indoor and outdoor showers, and all raised up on wooden decks to make the most of the Delta views.
The main camp has a lovely lounge area with canvas roof and open sides to make the most of the surroundings. There's also a swimming pool, providing welcome relief during the hotter months of the year.
