Owned and managed by the Kasbah de Toubkal, the Azzaden trekking lodge is situated in the village of Aït Aïssa in the Azzaden valley. A stay here forms part of a multi day trekking experience which features full day treks along the spectacular valley of Azzaden in the Toubkal National Park.
The lodge offers simple and comfortable accommodation with 4 en-suite double rooms. Featuring traditional wooden ceilings and wooden carved doors, the lodge was built using many local craftsmen.
After a long day's trek you can relax in the lodge's small, private hammam. Dinner and drinks will be served on the terrace before you retreat to the lounge with its woodburning stove and breathtaking vistas from the picture windows.
The highlight of a stay here is the unforgettable view of the Toubkal Massiv from the terrace, lounge and bedroom windows, and of course the wonderful peacefulness and beauty of the area.
Azzaden Trekking Lodge has four en-suite double rooms. They are very simply but perfectly comfortable and offer stunning views of the surrounding area.

When to go
The Atlas Mountains can also be visited year-round, although it does get cold in winter, with averages in the late teens. Summer months can be unbearably hot, especially in the months of July and August. Late autumn (September to November) and early spring (February to April) are the best times to visit, with daytime temperatures in the 20's and low 30's Celsius.
