To start planning your vacation to Sanctuary MS Nile Adventurer
The Sanctuary MS Nile Adventurer is a modern boat with all the amenities for a perfect cruise down the River Nile. Choose between a three night cruise (Aswan – Luxor) or a more relaxing four night cruise (Luxor – Aswan).
The Nile Adventurer has 32 stylish, contemporary and comfortable cabins with en suite bathrooms with bath tub and shower. There are two Presidential Suites and two Deluxe Cabins for those who require more space or a private balcony. All cabins are air-conditioned and have satellite television.
The specially created activity and excursion schedule will enable you to see the best the Nile Valley has to offer. The sightseeing groups are small, private and led by knowledgeable and experienced Egyptologists who will condense the most interesting facts and also answer questions on Ancient and Modern Egypt. The 'galabeya' party is a fun addition to the evening entertainment and gives guests the opportunity to dress in the traditional Egyptian Galabeya.
The boat has a large upper sun deck with a small swimming pool and outdoor bar. The restaurant on the main deck offers a huge range of international food and there is the also the option of in-cabin dining as well as barbecues on the upper sun deck. Other onboard facilities include a games room with computer, gym, library and laundry facilities as well as a massage room for relaxing after a long day sightseeing.
This boat has the luxury of sharing a private jetty with the other Sanctuary boats so please note that there may be up to four boats moored at any one time.
The cabins and suites are elegantly decorated in warm tones and have views of the Nile. They are fully air-conditioned, en-suite and have a television. The Sanctuary Nile Adventurer has 28 standard cabins, two deluxe cabins and two presidential suites.
Children are welcome to come on board M.S. Nile Adventurer and childcare is available upon request to educate and entertain children whilst on board the boat.
The professional chefs cook up some wonderful international and local dishes to include a variety of flavors catering for individual tastes. Tasty buffets, elegant a la carte menus, barbecues and extensive wine lists are offered.
The boat has an upper sun deck and inviting pool, a shaded deck with an outdoor bar, a library, a gym and a massage room.
All sightseeing is included on the MS Nile Adventurer, taking in the most interesting sites on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, from temples, to the Valley of the Kings and the Aswan Dam. Groups are small and are accompanied by an experienced Egyptologist.
Clare Monro (Staff)
The Nile Adventurer is one of the nicest cruisers on the Nile, and with just 32 cabins altogether (including two deluxe cabins and two presidential suites), it doesn't feel too big or brash. The standard and deluxe cabins may not have balconies, but this actually makes them more spacious.
Location & directions
Four night cruises depart from Luxor, while three night cruises depart from Aswan. In both Luxor and Aswan the docks are in front of the Military Officers Club.
How to get there
To reach the docks, we recommend flying from Cairo to either destination. The flying time from Cairo to Luxor is 1-hour, and from Cairo to Aswan it is 1-hour 30-minutes.
