The hotel is open all year, but summer (June to August) can get very hot, with temperatures soaring into the 40s. However, this is also low season, when prices drop. Best to avoid Ramadan, when some businesses will close for the whole month. Islamic festivals Eid al-Adha and Ras as-Sana are extremely busy as Egyptians are all on vacation. The dates for these vacations change every year, so check before planning your trip.

The rooms and suites at The Hilton Luxor offer guests contemporary comfort and most rooms have a balcony from which to enjoy the magnificent surrounding views. For the ultimate indulgence go for a Spa Suite which has its own private treatment room for pampering therapies in the comfort of your own home-from-home.
Choose from seven stylish bars and restaurants where you can feast on Asian fare at Silk Road, local specialties at Olives or unwind by the river on mezze platters at the relaxed Diwan. Indulge in a luxury holistic treatment at the tranquil and opulent Nayara Spa, bathe in the resort’s two stunning infinity pools flanked by large terraces with double hammocks or simply relax in a shaded cabana beside the Nile.
With so much to do within the hotel you could be forgiven for never leaving, but its location is ideal for exploring the wonders of Luxor and its surrounds. The Valley of The Kings, Valley of the Queens and Tutankhamen's tomb, as well as Karnak and Luxor Temples are all easily accessible from the Hilton. Alternatively, take a cruise on the Nile or even a peaceful balloon trip where you can enjoy a birds eye view of the magnificent wonders of the West Bank and the surrounding countryside.
The Hilton Luxor has 236 luxury guest rooms and suites all comfortable, elegant and contemporary and with excellent facilities. The 202 Guest Rooms are spacious and comfortable, some with small seating areas or balconies, and views are either of the city or the gardens. The 24 Deluxe Rooms have panoramic Nile views, balconies and comfortable easy chairs. The hotel's Junior, Nile and Spa Suites (with their own private courtyard and treatment room) have the addition of larger bathrooms, seating areas and lovely private balconies or patios.
The Hilton Luxor welcomes children who are allowed in all of the restaurants and bars when accompanied by their parents. There is a children's pool next to the main pool and both indoor and outdoor games are available. Highchairs, cots, babysitting and children's menus are all on hand to make a family stay more relaxing and the Hilton Luxor has specific Family Rooms that are designed to sleep two adults and at least one child. The resort offers different activities on a daily basis for the kids, such as draw and paint your favorite shapes, puzzle games, Connect 4 competitions, a painting competition, chess competitions, little chefs, and Arabic lessons.
Eight restaurants and bars give guests at The Hilton Luxor Resort plenty of dining options from healthy snacks and smoothies to exotic Asian delicacies and cocktails on the elevated terrace overlooking the Nile. The swim-up bar serves cocktails and has sunken seats. Also overlooking the majestic river is the hotel's infinity pool which features submerged sun loungers. There are also plunge pools, a world-class spa with Nile-side treatment pavilions, and a riverfront gym with floor-to-ceiling windows and dieticians and personal trainers as well as beauty and hair salons. Tennis courts and squash courts are also on site and golf and horse riding are available too.
The Hilton Luxor is located right on the Nile within close proximity to Karnak Temple, and Scott Dunn can organize a whole host of activities such as guided sightseeing in and around Luxor to sites such as the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's Temple and Luxor Temple, as well as once in a lifetime experiences such as hot air ballooning.

This is a straightforward Hilton, although very nice as Hiltons go! The decor is simple, the Nile views are superb and it is well-located for visits either to the surrounding sites of interest and also for going into the town itself. It's great because it has a kids club and a spa.

Fantastic location not far from Luxor or Karnak Temple and right on the banks of the Nile. International standards, lovely pool to relax by, children's club for the younger guests and a selection of restaurants to choose from offering all sorts of cuisine.

It is set in a great location on the Nile and is in a perfect spot to explore Luxor. It has lots of big pools, which are surround by hammocks and comfy canopy beds to lounge around in. The hotel is modern and contemporary and has every thing you need for a stay in Luxor
