Uganda can be visited at any time of year. Most of Uganda enjoys the perfect tropical climate. Temperatures average about 26°C during the day and 16°C at night. The hottest months are from December to February.
It is generally rainy (particularly during the months of March to May, September to November), while the remaining months (December to February, June to August) comprise Uganda's two dry seasons.

Volcanoes Kyambura Gorge Lodge is a rustic chic lodge with just eight banda cottages close to Kyambura Gorge, just outside the renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park. From the lodge go chimp trekking in Kyambura Gorge as well as game drives in the park.
Volcanoes Kyambura Gorge Lodge is an eclectic contemporary safari lodge which has been converted from an old coffee processing plant and has incredible views overlooking the Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the mythical Mountains of the Moon in the far distance.
The main lodge building was originally a coffee store and processing plant, surrounded by coffee plantations. The original structure has been sensitively restored to create a stunning and contemporary living space, balancing the history of the building with a series of distinct luxurious spaces for guests to relax.
The eight beautiful banda cottages have each been nestled into the hillside with their eco-luxury comforts including en-suite bathrooms and an individual view of the park.
From Volcanoes Kyambura Gorge Lodge go chimp trekking in the Gorge as well as game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park and take a boat cruise through the Kazinga Channel. It is also possible to visit community projects
There are eight unique timber or brick guest banda cottages with iron sheet or thatch roofs (three doubles and five twins) reflect the local building style. Each banda has an en-suite bathrooms with flushing loo, double sink, shower with hot and cold running water.
Although there are no specific child care facilities available, children of all ages are most welcome to come and stay at Volcanoes Kyambura Gorge Lodge. Food and meal times can be adjusted to suit younger guests and babysitting can be arranged for those that require it.
Kyambura Gorge Lodge does offer Wi-Fi in the main lodge building - however please be aware that this is Africa and the speed and service may be a little temperamental.
Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel

Kyambura Gorge, also known as the 'Valley of Apes', is the only place in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, in the south-west of Uganda, where you can go chimpanzee trekking, in an incredible tropical-rainforest setting right by the Equator line.
