Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Tanzania is a large country, with a varied climate. Generally, the long rains run from March to May - the temperature is warm and the humidity is high. June to October is the long dry season, and the short rains are in November and December, much lighter than the long rains. January and February are again dry (the short dry season) so this is another good time to visit.

Description
With just ten tented suites and a secluded location in the north of the Serengeti National Park, Nimali Mara offers an intimate safari experience with superb views of the wildebeest migration.
Perched atop a small kopje and blending seamlessly into its forested surrounds, Nimali Mara offers tastefully pared-back accommodation that takes inspiration from the natural beauty and materials of the Serengeti. An infinity pool offers relaxation with a view, while each tent boasts its own plunge pool.
Crafted from stone, with a glass frontage leading onto a shaded veranda, the tents evoke their serene surrounds and these muted tones and natural materials continue inside where wood, linen and cotton contrast with an industrial edge in the lighting, furniture and dramatic copper bath. An ensuite bathroom to the side of the room offers double vanities, a flush toilet and large shower. A private plunge pool is a welcome sight after a morning’s game drive.
Cosy armchairs, plump sofas and books to leaf through add a homely feel to the communal areas, while a dining room offers delicious fare that’s rivalled only by the views out over the Serengeti. With a remote location away from the routes of other safari vehicles, an infinity pool offers an idyllic spot to unwind in the tranquillity of the camp. Access to the river and stunning views of the wildebeest migrations mean time at Nimali Mara can be spent enjoying spectacular wildlife sightings while cocooned in the comfort of the camp.
From sundowners on a kopje looking out over the bush, to guided drives in search of the Serengeti’s iconic inhabitants, Nimali Mara offers an intimate safari experience with a tasteful touch of luxury.
