Itinerary ideas

If you are spending a week or less in Tanzania, then enjoy the highlights with a three night stay in Selous Safari Camp, a classic luxury tented camp located on the banks of Lake Nzerakera just an hour outside of Dar es Salaam, followed by three nights on the wild and beautiful island of Zanzibar.

If you have a few more days, then why not combine a stay at the stunning Lake Manyara Tree Lodge close to the breathtaking Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, with some game viewing on the vast plains of the Serengeti, then head on to Baraza on Pemba Island, in the Zanzibar archipelago.

Or for a three weeks or longer, then you can really get away from it all by adding on a stay at Jongomero Camp, a luxury safari camp set under shady acacia trees on the banks of the Jongomero Sand River. The camp itself is not fenced and animals are free to pass through as they please, so visits from elephants, buffalo, lions and leopards are likely to be a daily occurrence.
