Polar Event - 3 October 2019
Held at the Royal Geographical Society in October 2019, this evening was our largest event to date. Guests enjoyed an array of canapes and drinks and had access to the Society’s extensive polar collections, before sitting down to listen to our guest speakers. We were fascinated by Felicity Aston MBE who shared stories from her solo expedition to become the first woman to ski across Antarctica. Our very own Polar Specialist Grant Greenham also took to the stage to share his expertise on the extraordinary polar regions. Felicity and Grant where then joined by Polar Medallist Bob Headland and our experts Lucie and Tessa to answer questions from the floor, before mingling with guests over drinks.
