Average time to visit

Landlocked and surrounded by mountains, Kyrgyzstan enjoys sunshine and low rainfall for most of the year. In winter, the Arctic winds bring in precipitation, snowfall and cold sub-zero temperatures. As such, Kyrgyzstan is particularly good to visit between spring to late autumn (April-October).

Description

The Hyatt Regency Bishkek is a luxurious, contemporary hotel at the heart of Kyrgyzstan’s vibrant capital city, once a stop along the ancient Silk Road and gateway to the majestic Tien Shan Mountains.

With a central location in downtown Bishkek, close to the Kyrgyz Republic Opera House and Art Museum, the Hyatt Regency is Bishkek’s only five-star, luxury hotel. Travelling through the more rural regions of Kyrgyzstan can be challenging and accommodation is typically very simple, so this oasis is the perfect place to rest and relax before embarking on your adventures.

The hotel’s 178 rooms and suites are well appointed and luxurious, decorated in a calming palette of colours with Italian linens, comfortable beds and views out towards the State Opera and Alatoo mountains. All rooms and suites feature en-suite bathrooms with black marble baths and separate shower, along with all the modern conveniences you’d expect from an international standard hotel.

Crostini, the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a light and airy space, whilst the outdoor restaurant Breeze (open between May and October) specialises in grilled delicacies and light bites, served poolside. Located in the lobby, Bar@191 is open all day for snacks, tea, coffee and an impressive array of beverages, along with nightly entertainment from a live band. At the heart of the hotel, the Opera Lounge serves light refreshments overlooking the State Opera. Unwind after a long journey at the Club Olympus Spa, with its fully equipped gym, large whirlpool, steam room and saunas and extensive list of pampering spa treatments. During the summer months, the Hyatt Regency’s outdoor pool is the perfect place to relax.
