Kazkahstan's Almaty Province has a  humid continental climate with highest precipitation during the months of April and May. As with the rest of Kazakhstan, winter can get cold with snows and sub-zero temperatures. The Summer and Autumn months between June and October enjoy pleasant temperatures and lower rainfall that other months.

Aigai Kum Guesthouse's best forte is its unique location at Bashi village, just slightly outside from the Altyn Emel National Park, which means that the wonderful world of Singing Sand Dunes and the bizarre Aktau-Katutau mountains are right at your doorstep.

While the rooms are rather simple, they are comfortable and provide a good night's sleep just as fine. Homely local cuisine is served throughout the day in the hotel's cafe. If you go with the right expectation that you are at one of Kazakhstan's remote desert regions, you will enjoy the experience!
