Located close to the Yukomabetsu River at the foot of Mount Asahidake, La Vista is full of cosy alpine charm and hospitality set amid the Daisetsuzan Mountains. This is a great area for skiing and discovering Hokkaido’s scenic highest mountain range. During the winter months, have a drink at the atmospheric ice bar (the hotel provides insulating jackets), before warming up with a hot spring bath in the indoor and outdoor onsen. The hotel offers a free shuttle service from Asahikawa Station, around 60-minutes away as well as Asahikawa Airport, which is 40-minutes by car.

La Vista has both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths available for single sex bathing. For those wishing to bathe with a partner or family, three private onsen are also available to book. A popular area for skiing, this area is also great for climbing, trekking, fishing as well as horse-riding and La Vista makes a superb and friendly base for exploring.
