Best time to visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit

This itinerary visits many regions of Australia. As Hamilton Island is in the Whitsundays and not as far north as some islands on the Great Barrier Reef the weather is not quite so extreme. The best time to visit is still between April and October but it is still well worth a visit the rest of the year.

Kangaroo Island can be visited year round and the cooler weather between April and October can be when the best wildlife is viewed. Sydney and the Blue Mountains can also be visited year round.

Itinerary

Day 1-4

Sydney

Touch down in Sydney ready for your personally curated journey to begin.  You will be staying at the ultimate address, Park Hyatt Sydney, with its panoramic views of the Opera House and the sparkling waters of the Harbour. After a busy day seeing the iconic sights, head to the ultra-modern rooftop pool and spa - total bliss!

Take to the road in style in a bespoke private tour of Sydney by vintage car where you will witness some of Sydney iconic sites. Explore the Rocks District where mural-clad laneways offer boutique coffee shops and galleries before heading down to the harbour to witness the famed Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. When in Sydney getting out on to the harbour is a must. Cruise the harbour in style on a sailing boat and embark on a four-hour cruise taking in the famous sights as well as the lesser known coves and beaches of the harbour.

The rest of your time in Sydney is at leisure – opt to spend a day sailing in the harbour or relax on one of the great city beaches. Wander through the beautiful botanic gardens or take in a performance at the Opera House – the options are endless.
