Experience a taste of the Peruvian Amazon at this very comfortable jungle lodge with excellent service and cuisine. Exotic yet reachable, it sits in a private reserve on the banks of Madre de Dios River, an unforgettable introduction to this amazingly bio diverse region.

Discover the surrounding jungle's fauna and flora with an included programme of activities and excursions and experience this awe-inspiring natural haven of trees, insects and mammals. A web of tree-trunk sidewalks join Reserva Amazonica’s lodges and 8 kms of trails wind through the jungle that surround the lodge.

The lodge features one of Latin America’s largest tree canopy walkways, comprising a system of towers and hanging bridges high in the forest canopy. Carefully camouflaged, it allows guests to watch and interact with species. The reserve also features the ‘Anaconda walk’, a series of raised platforms at ground level to make exploring the forest floor easy. Guests can also take to the river for a sunset or half-day cruise to explore deeper into the amazing Amazon jungle, accompanied by an expert bilingual guide.

The 35 jungle cabanas and suites are illuminated at night by lanterns, have beds shrouded with muslin and hammocks swinging in the porch ways. The sound of the jungle in the background adds to the magical and enchanting ambience.

The small ENA spa offers indigenous plant treatments and massages by sunset, the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring one of the most diverse biospheres in the world.

Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is adjacent to the lush Tambopata National Reserve, where the Madre de Dios River meanders through the Southern Peru rainforest region, known as the Biodiversity Capital of Peru.

Daily flights from Lima via Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado. From Puerto Maldonado Airport, check-in at the Inkaterra Butterfly House, then its a 10-minute transfer to the Jetty Port for a 45-minute boat transfer along the river to the Lodge.
