Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Any time’s a good time to go to Singapore. Practically on the equator, Singapore is constantly warm (the temperature never drops below 20°C) and humid and gets fairly steady year-round rainfall. The wettest months are supposedly November to January, when it’s also a degree or two cooler, while the driest are supposedly May to July, but in reality there is little distinction between the seasons.
Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – dry (between May to September) and wet (between October to April) – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.
We design each itinerary around you, so this suggested itinerary is a starting point that we can tweak or transform into something completely bespoke to you. Call us on 020 3993 8476 to start planning your holiday.

A happy collision of opposites - Singapore celebrates the grand and expensive at the famed Raffles Hotel, but low-key and affordable in the food markets of Bugis Junction and Boat Quay. With endless dining and entertainment options, famed quality shopping and cultural treasures, the city’s attractions are endless. Days 4-8: Ubud
From Singapore it's just a short flight to Bali, where you'll be whisked straight up to the lush, jungle heart of the island, Ubud. Ubud is surrounded by steep slopes, rice terraces and tropical jungle and regarded as the cultural and handicraft centre of Bali, with numerous galleries to explore. It is a charming town to wander round with an outdoor market and plenty of local restaurants and cafes that we can recommend. If you're feeling adventurous, cycling, trekking and rafting are a great way to see the surrounding region. The lush tropical landscape, cooler temperatures and slower pace make Ubud an ideal place to begin your Balinese adventure. During your time in Ubud we have include a classic tour of exotic Bali by VW Convertible. First explore Pura Kehan, an 11th century temple complex regarded as one of the most beautiful in Bali before continuing to Pengilipuran, a traditional plantation village. Also included in the guided tour is a trip up to the village of Kintamani, one of the best places to view Mount Batur and the chance to explore the cultural arts and crafts markets surrounding Ubud.
Accommodation: Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan (4 nights)
-
Days 8-12: Seminyak
For the finale of your twin centre holiday, you'll make your way down to the south coast of the island for a stay in Seminyak. This laid back, beachside town is characterised by a long stretch of beach, great for surfing and walking. Some of Bali’s most fashionable restaurants and boutique shops are located in Seminyak, offering the perfect opportunity to explore - if you can bring yourself to leave the luxurious surroundings of your chosen accommodation.
Included during your stay on Bali’s south coast is a scenic exploration by foot of the remote region of Belimbing. Very much authentic Bali you will enjoy a guided 7km trek around coffee and chocolate plantations, see secluded waterfalls and meet locals. After a freshly prepared lunch you will be dressed in traditional Balinese attire and will get unique opportunity to partake in an age-old Balinese ceremony at one of the local Hindu temples located deep within the jungle – an unforgettable experience you will remember for years to come.
