Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – dry (between May to September) and wet (between October to April) – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.

Enjoy an unforgettable journey experiencing some of the finest accommodation options Indonesia has to offer. Starting in the remote private island retreat of Bawah, the itinerary takes you east to Bali to stay in one of Ubud’s most indulgent hotels and then onto Sumba to experience the spectacular eco-lodge, Nihi Sumba. This grand adventure comes to an end of the famed coastline of Bali in one of the island's more luxurious beach properties.

  1. Days 1-2: City Centre

Upon arrival in Singapore, you will be met by your guide and driver and driven to your hotel in the heart of the city. Enjoy one night your leisure to explore the city or unwind as you wish.

Accommodation: The Fullerton Singapore (1 night)

  2. Days 2-7: Anambas Islands, Indonesia

Today, travel by a mix of car, ferry and sea-plane to the extraordinary private island retreat of Bawah. With five days here at your leisure there is plenty of time to experience all this one-of-a-kind luxury island has to offer. Spend your days exploring its thirteen beaches, enjoy snorkelling and water sports amongst its lagoons and head off along a number of walking trails to discover the local wildlife. In the evenings, enjoy start-gazing, watching a film in the open-air cinema or simply just relax with a delicious dinner.

  3. Days 7-10: Ubud

Your journey continues east across Indonesia to the famed island of Bali and its cultural heart of Ubud. Here, stay at one of Ubud's most scenic hotels next to the river, home to its own temple and rice paddy field.

During your stay, we have included an excursion to meet with a local Brahman for a series of unique Balinese activities including woodcarving, preparing local dishes and a traditional blessing ceremony. The rest of your time in Ubud is at your leisure to explore the town and lush countryside as you wish, heading off of cycle rides and hikes, browsing Ubud's upscale boutiques or unwinding at the hotel.

  4. Days 10-14: Sumba Island, Remote Indonesian islands, Indonesia
