Located in Storarjodur, western Iceland, Hotel Husafell is completely off-the-beaten-track and surrounded by some of the country's most incredible scenery. Around two hours from Reykjavik, Hotel Husafell is within easy reach of breathtaking glaciers, magnificent waterfalls and spectacular scenery.

With just 48 rooms, Hotel Husafell offers a boutique experience. Each of the rooms uses a natural colour palette to ensure the space feels light and bright, while touches such as unique furnishings add to the contemporary feel of the hotel. An emphasis is put on local art, with pieces by Husafell-born artist Pall Gudmundsson throughout the property.

Dining at Hotel Husafell offers a taste of traditional Icelandic flavours with an international twist. The chef uses seasonal produce available on the island and local ingredients to create delicious recipes, many of which incorporate the freshest seafood. The stylish and contemporary restaurant also affords beautiful views across the surrounding landscape, perfectly paired with the fantastic dishes.

Hotel Husafell boasts its own geothermal baths - a traditional Icelandic pastime and the ideal way to unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Using Iceland's surplus of geothermal energy, these baths provide water at the perfect temperature for soothing the muscles and offer the ultimate relaxation.

Ideally located for discovering Iceland's natural beauty, Hotel Husafell is close to the impressive Langjokull glacier, the world's largest lava cave and the beautiful Snaefellsnes peninsula. Spend your days hiking through the wilderness, admiring stunning waterfalls, discovering the depths of the lava cave or exploring the largest man-made ice tunnel beneath the glacier.
